I only recently discovered this shop and have had them fix, replace lost stones, size rings at a very reasonable price. It’s a place you can trust with some of your most precious jewelry to be repaired. I’m grateful to have found John. He’s extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of jewelry including Native American pottery.

My friend and I purchased 4 crosses that were made from Cave Creek rock. These are beautiful. John was friendly and even recommended a good beer (as it was warm outside). Thanks!!John I am back in Indiana but if you have any of the crosses left I’d like to buy them. Let me know.

I met John a year ago with my sister bought a beautiful ring he made and spoke to him about turning my wedding ring into a pendant and another ring. When I visited a few months ago I brought him my wedding set and he designed and created a gorgeous pendant and ring for me! Made jewelry with bad memories into pieces that I can enjoy daily with new memories! Thank you John

This place is a must stop and shop. John is friendly, knowledgeable, and generous. My second vist Sept 2022 and bought a stunning pink topaz and peridot ring and bracelet set. He is sizing it and shipping to my home in WA state. Repaired a one of a kind emerald topaz ring I bought from him more than a year ago. He has something for every taste and budget.

We recently were in this shop during a stay in Scottsdale. The owner is a good salesman. We went in merely window shopping and wound up buying two bracelets that he said he made. One of the bracelets was a gift. We mailed it to our daughter and it was two small. We went back in and discussed it with the owner. He said he could not add a link to match the current one because they were no longer available but he could add a piece of silver to the clasp to lengthen it. There was an extra charge for this of course. We paid ahead of time and had our daughter mail the bracelet back to him. He communicated well with our daughter. He made the repair and promptly mailed it back to her. You have to look very carefully to see that the bracelet was altered. John did what he said he would do and did it quickly. Yes, he is a very passionate salesman, but this is his livelihood in the very competitive market of Old Town. The entire area relies on tourism. He was never rude to us. Just trying to make a living.

Zaman's is a perfect store for exquisite goods. That is because of John and his helpfulness. Buying a Damascus knife for my son was an easy process with his knowledge. Thanks John for your extra help because Benjamin had a nice Christmas. Not that his Mama's cooking didn't help. Blessings.

Talked to John for a bit. I really enjoyed his customer centered approach and his beautiful jewelry. He didnt have a huge selection of Native American pieces, but the pieces he did have were unique to anything I have found elsewhere and reasonably priced.

Had so much fun today and John is a blessing. Purchased a ring he made (18k gold Perl beauty) a vintage Navaho ring and a necklace. I know I got a good deal and after shopping all over Scottsdale, John was the one of two store owners who actually appreciated customers. I’ll be back...and so will my husband so that speaks volumes.

Having purchased a gift for my grandson at Zaman’s, it was unfortunately confiscated by the TSA at the Phoenix airport. I contacted John and he immediately sent me a replacement. He followed up frequently to make sure it arrived. When it did arrive, it was in perfect condition. I want to thank John for his courteous and prompt customer service, and wonderful high quality merchandise.
