Dr Wood is great and the assistants too (sorry I didn't get their names). I feel like my babies received solid care and plan on making this my vet office going forward.

If you love your cat this is the place you need . They gave my kitty the best care . My kitty was a patient there for over 8 years and when it was time for her to go over the rainbow bridge Dr. Flynn made it a beautiful peaceful transition .

I had taken my 12 year old cat with hyperthyroidism to see Dr Flynn for a second opinion on how to treat his condition and manage his disease or whatever else might have been happening to him since he was losing weight. At first it seemed like she knew what she was doing by recommending an ultrasound of his abdomen. I had brought some test results from the previous vet. She wanted to also check his blood and urine which is something that should been done before scheduling an ultrasound. But because my cat is afraid of strangers and could get spicy she wanted to give him 200mg of gabapentin the night before and the day of which I thought was excessive. I asked her about it and she said that she did not want to get hurt and when I said I didn't want to lose him due to being overly sedated with excessive amounts of gabapentin in his system on top of sedation she coldly said that happens sometimes. She is clearly very cold and not empathetic to the concerns of a parent for their beloved pet. Needless to say I canceled the procedure and took him to Vet Med where they were able to handle him with only 100 mg of gabapentin and a towel over his head. I would venture that if you are a vet you should be able to handle all types of behaviors in animals without being afraid of them hurting you. After all it's part of the job. It also turns that since his bloodwork was done prior to X-rays they determined that he was very sick and couldn't be helped so we freed him of his pain and had him put down. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone who loves their pets. I would recommend Vet Med on Cave Creek Road.

This is a wonderful cat hospital, I am so grateful I found Dr. Wood and Dr. Flynn, who have assisted me in caring for my two cats, one of whom has leukemia and pancreatitis. Despite how scary my cat's medical issues can be at times, the vets at Scaredy Cat Hospital are always exceptional, professional, and immensely kind-hearted. I don't think I could trust anyone more with my cats. Thank you Dr. Wood & Dr. Flynn for all that you do. I also really appreciate their front desk staff, they are very supportive and considerate, and I really appreciate all their efforts and help. Additionally, their grooming services are great, they're very careful and considerate of the cats and their fur. I also love that they offer cat boarding - they have rooms each about the size of a walk-in closet that has photos of birds, a bed, bowls, and a TV. I haven't needed to use their boarding services yet but am grateful to know that if I ever did need to board my cats, I could do it somewhere I really trust. Also, fun fact, they currently have multiple cats (between 6 to 8 cats) that were rescued and now live at the Scaredy Cat Hospital :')

We had a good experience here. My cats usually aren't thrilled about going to the vet, but the technician and vet both were very gentle. They are also very helpful, they renewed my cats dietary prescription with no trouble at all.

Dr. Wood has been our vet forever. She has taken such great care of all 4 of our kitties. She is gentle, kind and professional. She is genuine and I could tell that right away by the way she interacted with my very upset and somewhat feral kitty. The front desk associates often seem bothered by phone calls or questions. However, I don't let that deter me. The doctor is what makes the practice worthwhile. We feel heard by Dr. Wood and my kitties are valued when they are in their care.

We really like the care that our "Griz" has had over the past years. We are devastated to learn that Assistant & Groomer Melanie is no longer with them. They don't have any suggestions for other cat groomers, as of this writing; hopefully that will change soon. There are going to be many, MANY cat owners that are just as disappointed. She was awesome and Griz loved her.

We love Scaredy Cats. We took our sweet cat, Lilith, here until she crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 16. Now, we take our kitten, Scully, to Scaredy Cats. The staff and doctors are all so caring and genuinely kind.

I've been taking my cats here for a couple years now. They were the only vet to figure out a cure for one of my cats illnesses, I had gone to three different places before them to no avail. The vets are knowledgeable and the techs are so helpful. I love that they focus on cats, I feel it really makes a difference in the quality of hell you get.

They took good care when examining my cat. They did lab work and thankfully my cat turned out fine. Thanks for giving us peace of mind

We've been taking our cats to Scaredy Cat Hospital since they arrived to live with us in 2014. At first, it was because these long-haired desert kitties needed a haircut for summer, but then we realized that first Gizmo, then his littermate Cheddar, had diabetes and needed a caring place to get checked up and taken care of. Now that Gizmo has passed over the Rainbow Bridge, Maximus has joined our family, and he too will benefit from great care at Scaredy Cat Hospital. I highly recommend the caring doctors, techs, and groomer, plus the working cats in the office.

I will never take my cats anywhere else as long as I live in the Valley! I love the fact that the staff are all cat lovers and the doctors are cat experts. I have a very "scaredy cat" kitty and they are SO gentle and sweet with him. Staff is cautious about the noise, their breathing, movements, and tone and it's so incredibly helpful.

Wow. My experience with this Cat Clinic was so much better than I could have ever imagined. This is the type of place that you pull up to, walk inside, speak to them and you IMMEDIATELY have FULL confidence you made the right choice. My kitten had never been to a vet before or really been socialized so I was extremely nervous. I’m a cat lover and like to think that I’m excellent with animals, but the way the staff interacted with my kitten blew my mind. My kitten had a full exam, had her eyes cleaned, vaccines, and a blood draw. I’m at home 45 minutes later and my kitten is happy and playing like nothing happened. Chase (my kitten) knew she could trust the staff and let them do their thing. I can’t believe how smooth the entire process. This isn’t the cheapest place, but if you’re reading this than you weren’t looking for the cheapest place but the best place and you’ve found it. Both of my cats will spend the rest of their lives at Scaredy Cat Clinic/hospital. I came here initially for the great reviews I read, but I’ll continue to come back for the great staff.

There are just not enough words or great adjectives to say how amazing the Scaredy Cat Hospital is. They took in our boy, Charlie at a critical time in his recovery and care, with only one week notice. Dr. Wood and her staff went above an beyond and showed love, care, knowledge and most importantly daily communication while he was in medical boarding and we were out of country. We were so concerned to leave him for such a long time so new in his diagnosis, but I just knew that Dr. Wood was the right person and the team around her. This gave us piece of mind. Charlie is back home and is doing so well just over 3 weeks in his long recovery, and he looks better than he ever did and we owe that to The Scaredy Hospitals exemplary care.Thank you a million times!!!
