Tal (my dad) created my engagement ring with my now fiancé and it is my most favorite thing ever. Tal is loyal, genuine and wants the best for his customers. His jewelry is so beautiful!

Had a terrible experience with Tal Barkel Jewelry. I bought a $1,900 wedding band with diamonds all the way around for our wedding in March, 2020. When I received the ring, all looked good at first. However, during our photos at our reception, my wife looked down and discovered a diamond was missing. We informed Tal, and asked that he fix the issue. Weeks later, we get the repaired ring back. Another few months go by, and once again, stones start falling out. Two that time. At that point I should have asked for a refund, but unfortunately we gave him another chance to make our situation right. We had to wait almost 3 months before we got the ring back. This was right around the time that my wife became pregnant with our first child. After a couple of months, there were no issues. In March, my wife's fingers had swollen from the pregnancy, and she had to remove both the wedding band and her wedding ring for the rest of the pregnancy. The ring sat in a box until after our baby girl was born in October. My wife started wearing her rings again shortly after, and sure enough, a couple of months later, two more stones fell out. When we asked for a refund (minus the cost of the stones), Tal refused and told us we could pay to have the ring repaired. Since I cannot trust that this won't continue to happen if we get the ring repaired, I am not sure what else we can do. This experience has been absolutely awful. If I could go back in time, I would have happily paid double to another Jeweler who offered a lifetime warranty. Our other jewelry purchases have been at Shane Co and we have never had an issue with them.

Tal stopped payment on a check he made to our company in 2013 and has still not paid us for services rendered. I wouldn't trust him.

Tal Barkel designs are truly one of kind and made with the highest quality stones and metals. Tal's passion for his business and his level of integrity is what really sets him apart and is what makes me a genuine fan of him and his work.
