Had such a positive experience here. The woman running the place was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They had a wide selection of jewelry to choose from: sizes, stones, types, design style, etc. The prices were also very reasonable. I'm kicking myself for not getting more pieces but it was the start of our trip. Landed on a necklace with a double sided pendant: white opal and gaspiate. So in love with it.

Went in over with my mother over the weekend to find a birthday gift for another family member. I found several items and wanted to pay with my American Express. I was told that their "machine" did not like American Express. When I told the sales person that it was the only card I had with me, she had the audacity to ask my 81 year-old mother if she had the money to loan me!!! I was mortified, as was my mother! I'm over 50 years old and I certainly have my own money. The point is, I have several shops to choose from when in Old Town and most all of them gladly accept American Express. I wasn't upset she could not or would not take my preferred method of payment but how dare she ask my mother if she could loan me money! Once I recovered from my shock, I strongly advised her that she was very unprofessional and that she had not only lost a sale, but had permanently lost me as a customer.

Enjoyed Old Town Scottsdale today. Found Sun Valley Gallery looking for good quality jewelry and hit the jackpot! Mike was very helpful and nice to chat with while shopping his family store. I highly recommend a stop in this store if you find yourself in Old Town!!

Bought a beautiful necklace here last year with inlaid opal and gaspiate. A piece of opal fell out. And I was vet disappointed. We were visiting again this year and stopped in to see what they could do for me. With a little discussion, they exchanged the piece for me and without my receipt. I would definitely recommend shopping here again because of their wonderful customer service.

Sun Valley is an awesome local business with a great selection of indian jewelry and art. This business is family owned and the owners are super friendly and ready to help. I checked them out on a Saturday afternoon when I was on the Yelp local business shopping crawl. They were not on the list but something caught my eye and I had to step inside.
