I see all these comments asking who they are helping and wanted to add my personal experience. St Vincent has helped my family in many ways in the past. They helped us with our rent. They provided us with vouchers to their store for clothes and furniture. They even brought my family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner along with gifts for my kids. We were in a very hard spot and I am forever greatful for them.

Prices are ridiculous. They are pricing stuff by what is listed on eBay, not even what it sells for but what the listings start at. I don't shop ebay and I won't shop here either.

Miserable experience donating in the back drive up today, as compared to the countless times I have donated over the years.
I posted a long , updated review on yelp.
Do better, people! Those of you "working" in the back drive up look miserable. A welcoming, smiling, helpful and grateful attitude toward those of us who donate would be nice. Instead, I encountered rude behavior, sour faces and no help lifting my heavy donations into the blue tub...you all stood around and watched me struggle, and did nothing...not even a thank you.
There are other places where I can donate...you're not the only game in town. Based on today's rude and negative experience, I seriously will think twice about ever donating here again.

This store was great (a bit overpriced) until this human decided to take advantage of their “AARP Disability” program. Apparently he can’t drive a truck (do to a surgery affecting his “ability”, yet he drives to SVDP daily) he CAN however wave his arms around like a crazy man while attempting to be the gatekeeper (video will be sent to all the proper authorities). Too bad he has driven several customers away, won’t work with me. Saint Vincent, why are you allowing someone who is beating the system, stealing money from their employer, to destroy your reputation you’ve spent almost 80 years building (many GREAT people who have volunteered building that reputation)! Time to act…..before you lose EVERY loyal customer you had prior to his arrival. We already know of 5 (yes they’ve personally contacted me & left reviews online on several apps & websites) that refuse to go back, at least until he is GONE!

It’s sad when a business doesn’t trust that your incredibly well mannered, cute, loved by kids and the cashiers is refused entry because her assistance dog status is applied for.
I find this facility, save the incredibly disrespectful gatekeeper at the entrance to put you in a bad mood, has the most amazing and hard workers, amazing inventory on collectibles, but only fair on everything else.
If you’re a dog lover, skip it and go to the Goodwill on Scottsdale Rd or in Mesa on Guadeloupe. There you will find amazing deals on everything else St Vincent doesn’t have, and welcoming people.

I was very disappointed with this place. Prices are over the top for a thrift store. I get that they're trying to help the community, but the first person you're supposed to help is the person in front of you shopping in your store. Will not be coming back.
