Tanisha takes the best care of my hair! She takes her time, offers valuable suggestions, and even does a 5 minute scalp massage with my shampoo. Well worth it!

I haven't had a haircut in over a year. I just received a liver transplant at the Mayo Clinic 9 days ago, and I knew the first thing I wanted to do was get a haircut. I came to see Michelle on recommendation of my aunt who has been Michelle's customer and friend for years. Michelle was professional, humble, caring, friendly-and super clean, sterile and took every precaution available to make me feel safe after having a liver transplant 9 days ago. We had an incredible time talking, and she took time in ensuring the haircut was perfect. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, and her commitment to my happiness in the haircut is and will continue to be appreciated as I permanently change where I get haircuts! Lastly-her shop is so perfectly nestled in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, and her clean decor and individualized studios make you feel very comfortable, as opposed to being side by side another customer. This allowed a more intimate experience, which removed a lot of anxiety of feeling comfortable. Hands down probably best hair cut experience I've ever had. Not only a great haircut that I truly love, but an experience I will never forget. Michelle made me look on the outside how I have been feeling on the inside since my transplant-perfectly happy and enjoying life. To me-Michelle is now a part of my family and I hope she feels the same! Oh-and buy the Kevin Murphy products that are enviro-friendly and extremely good quality!

I have been a client of Michele Bilbrey since 1996, when I moved to Arizona. She is a fantastic hairstylist and colorist. She has been coloring my hair for at least the last 20 years. I have referred several friends to her as well. Michele has very strict Covid-19 protocols. The front door of the salon is locked. You have to be buzzed in and your temperature is taken immediately. A mask is required at all times. I feel very comfortable visiting Salon Suede even during the pandemic. Contact Michele in advance for an appointment. She will do her best to work with your schedule. She is professional and very well-versed in hair coloring and the latest hair style trends. This is a unisex salon and kids are welcome as well.

Honestly one of the very best hair dressers/stylists I've ever been to! I've lived in NYC, Las Vegas, & now Scottsdale and I have to say she just exceeds the bar!! From having tons of laughs to being my therapist I appreciate Liz so much! I've gone from blonde to black to red to blond to ash to black to red again - and she ALWAYS works on my hair with a smile. She has made sure my hair has turned out perfect each time, shows up the time she tells me she would and even has a large screened computer where you can pick out photos of hair images on what you want your cut to look like! Also get pricing is SUPER competitive for old town! Probably the best quality but the most inexpensive for cut and colors! Even her studio is warm, inviting, eclectic, and has a little of doobie brother, donna summers, Bob marley, and above and beyond playing in the background with candles burning! If you wanna find your new go to hair dresser in old town- this is where you need to have your hair done- fa sho!
