The entire front of the store reeks of cigarette smoke, they need to ask employees to smoke behind the store it's horrible, otherwise it's the best store in the area

• I just deleted a bunch of basically really nice reviews of this Safeway, which is a pleasure to shop at. I needed some space so that I ended up just clearing them all but shopping experience and great customer service.
• The specific purpose of this review is to thank Manager JAMES B, For always wonderful, simplified customer service.
He also ultra impressed me the way he helped me avoid a rain check because he knew something about the product and I can’t get into details but what he did was a genius in my mind and it was the same as waiting with the rain check so big thanks also for his thing he did
Today I went in with a minor difficulty and MADISON Also may just more than easy
You can’t beat the service and personalized check lanes versus other very large unmentioned grocery stores!
I really like shopping at the Safeway everybody’s super friendly and I’ve had experiences in the pharmacy, the meat department and customer service /always good. For about 12 years actually
Honorable mention to Evelyn and the entire Pharmacy department I can’t remember the young man’s name, but he smiles all the time as well as, as well asJAMIE In the meat department and, NICK at checkout as well as Steve self-serve checkout. . oh my gosh, I almost forgot Gabe. I see him all the time!
But the star of the day is ? Madison/thanks for keeping life simple and thanks again to James B
you guys wanna make me shop there more and more which I am!!

We start working at 6am every day and always love grabbing some breakfast treat. Unfortunately, Safeway never has donuts or bagel available. We brought this to the attention to the department in charge and we were ignored. We were told one of the person working in the bakery department is always late and this is the reason. We even sent an email to Corporate and it seems they dont care that this store is presenting this issue. Will this get better?

My family has shopped at this Safeway for years. I could do my shopping in this place blindfolded because I know it so well. But after today, I will not be returning - nor will any member of my family. I will not name the employee, because it is my sincere hope that they were just having a bad day and will learn from the experience. While I was checking out, the woman in front of me was struggling to speak with the cashier in English. He kept insisting that she put in her phone number (which is almost always a good idea because it helps save money). But this woman was adamantly refusing to use her phone number - flat out saying 'no' more than once. The cashier rolled his eyes and tapped on the card reader and kept repeating she needed to input her phone number to save money. Normally a good thing, but in this case she might have reasons: maybe she is visiting family and doesn't know their landline number, maybe she doesn't have a cell phone, or maybe she doesn't want anyone to have any record of her phone number because she is scared of someone. Although a grocery store phone list might not be the most likely of places to track someone with using a phone number, no one knows for sure if this woman was just erring on the side of caution. The point is that if a customer says no, not once, not twice - but six times, it might be a good idea for the cashier to stuff a sock in their mouth and accept some people say 'no' for a reason.

Review your receipts if you shop here. I have always loved Safeway, but I will be switching grocery stores. I just started reviewing my receipts just the last 2 weeks and both times they over charged me. Last week it was for flowers a $7 difference and yesterday I was over charged $20! I called and they said bring in the receipt which I will do.

Came in for a quick grab on some items. Normally I don't leave a review for a grocery store unless something great happens.
Well today, Kevin happened. He was working in the wine area and offered to help even though I told him I had several items to locate and was lost. He happily helped and went above and beyond. Saving me lots of time and above all, was very pleasant to talk to!
You go Kevin!
