Always a great experience here!! Been a patient for eight years now and have never left without being impressed. Really surprised with any negative reviews honestly, as I’ve never had issues with the front desk or any of the three physicians I’ve seen in the past years. Cannot recommend enough, truly the best practice I’ve experienced in the valley.

I just tried to make an appointment at this facility. I’ve been sick for days and was looking through my insurance portal to find somewhere to see me as I just moved here and haven’t had the chance to establish myself somewhere. I asked if Jennifer was available, and the receptionist immediately cut me off and said “It’s DR. SMITH, and she’s not taking any new patients.” and hung up very abruptly. It was an honest mistake referring to the Dr. by her first name, but that’s not how you should treat people just trying to get help. Very unprofessional and rude.

Was coming here for a while liked my doctor but apparently this practice is all out for the cash grab.Avoid letting the front desk say oh just pay your bill the next time you come.Avoid not paying your copay before leaving. This "practice" loves to stack on late fees and loves your wallet, not your health.

Dr. Kirk is on maternity leave and her staff has no clue how to handle her leave of absence. I understand that she has her own life to live, but her absence should not negatively impact patients as much as it has.Office staff have NO clue about how to handle Kirk's patients while she is out, I had one office staff telling me that I need to refill my prescriptions online. I found out the next day when I kept calling that was incorrect, and I actually needed to schedule an appointment to get my prescription filled. No one ever communicated with me that I needed to schedule an appointment, and when I finally got in touch with the office to ask them what I was supposed to do they literally gave me the wrong information. Thankfully I did not give up and kept calling until I found a staff member, Jennifer, that actually knew was she was talking about and could help me. Completely unacceptable for office staff to just give out wrong information regarding how to get your medicine refilled.

Over the last 5 years, I have seen Dr.Henson at MVFP and couldn't be happier with my experience. Dr.Henson truly cares about her patients and takes the time to listen and understand. She has been so easy to work with and if I ever needed any sort of PCP referral, I have always received it with 24-48 hours! I feel lucky to have such a great relationship with my PCP and to feel genuinely cared about. With the office staff, I have never had any issues and always have had good customer service- if I call for an appointment they get me in (even if it's last minute) and use their online portal for billing and messaging which has made it pretty easy. If you are looking for a great PCP, highly recommend checking out MVFP and Dr.Henson.

Had a normal check-up with no tests or additional services. Paid co-pay for visit in November, then they sent a bill for $102 December. Then got a follow-up bill for $177 in January where they had tacked on three additional late fees (all within that month) for $75. I should note that Dr. Kirk is great. The billing department was less than helpful to explain why additional bill even existed claiming insurance didn't cover parts of the bill, also the explanation of benefits did not come until January from insurance. My family is leaving this practice, I suggest you never experience them to begin with based on their lack of transparency and very suspect practices and inability to articulate and communicate.

I’d leave if I didn’t like my Dr so much. Staff is rude and unpredictable. Billing is far worse. Constant billing mistakes and extra charges for no reason.

I love my doctor! However, the office staff is incompetent! They cannot answer phones, leave messages, call in prescriptions. And the doctor assistants are even worse (it took over 3 weeks for my doctors assistant to call in my prescription to CVS, and I didn't have a doctors referral sent after the doctor requested it 2 times). Don't bother go some else else. 5 starts for my doctor, 0 stars for the office and doctors assistants. You cannot post without leaving a star so I have to leave 1 but it should be none.

I love my doctor! The doctor I had before retired, he was great too! I've been coming to Mountain view family physicians for 23 years, as well as my son. My doctor that I have right now cares and gets on me to do the things I need to do to better my health. The lady that use to be in the front office I miss! She may have retired also, I haven't seen her in awhile. She always made me feel welcomed! The only thing I don't like is the location. They keep moving further away from where I live. It takes me close to 30 minutes to get there but I think it's worth it.

My Dr from the practice is on maternity leave. I had to go in for my annual exam. I saw someone who was covering and she was very nice. I had an issue with a test result whereas the lab did get enough of a sample to examine. The scheduler at Mountain View could not fit me in--I asked for the practice manager--the scheduler took my number and the practice manager must have worked his/her magic because they got me in. I saw Dr. Henson and she was incredible. Took her time, excellent bedside manner, and very knowledgeable. I recently had an unfortunate trip to the er by ambulance. I had to follow up with my dr. and they again got me in within 48 hours. This time I saw Dr. Smith. Another incredible visit. Knowledgeable, spent time reviewing my test results with me, great bedside manner. Sent me for an additional bloodtest at my request and got back to me within 24 hours with results. I have beeen at several practices over the 30 years that I have lived here. best one yet. Great job!

I've been a patient of this practice for many years. First with Dr. Riley, until his retirement. I've been seeing Dr. Mandy Lim for a few years now. He is a good listener. He takes my concerns seriously. I have no complaints

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and honestly the general care from the doctors and staff is hit or miss. Mostly miss, they do not listen, laugh while giving diagnosis that is life changing, lack bedside manner, and prefer you take advil over listening to your symptoms and acutally treating you for infection. We go bc we are sick, not bc I want a free day out of the office, and dismiss concerns about any illness you have and condescendingly tell you " well for whatever reason people find that hot soup and tea help the most". If I thought that would help and would cure me, I would not waste my 50$ co pay to be here.

I was referred to a physician by a friend and just called the office and asked if they were accepting new patients. The rude woman that answered the phone said No and I asked if they had a waiting list and she said Um no. I told her that they needed to update their website because only 2 of the doctors had listed that they weren't accepting new patients. She just sat there in silence. Practices should really consider hiring better front office personnel. They are who everyone has to interact with and because of her rudeness I will never bother again trying to get in to see the doctor who was recommended.

I was with Dr Kirk when she was still at DRFP. I didn't originally follow her to this practice because I was laid off and ended up working at a different job in Avondale. So I had chosen to go with a doctor in that area. Now that I have a different job (yet again), I am back with Dr Kirk. Yay. So yes, I am biased with her. However, the facilities here are clean. Front office staff is nice & friendly. Dr Kirk's MA was also very professional. So all those things contribute to the perfect score. The best thing about this office is the masks are optional. DRFP & My Avondale doc did not have that option. I really have zero complaints about this practice. Although they do not have an lab in their office, Sonora Quest is directly across the courtyard so that also makes things convenient. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
