Cleanest and most well kept gas station in Scottsdale. Even when it’s 115 degrees, they always have washer fluid and trash is never full. Brand new touch-free gas pumps ?

It was 115 degrees out and my AC stopped working. I initially made the mistake of going to a popular car repair franchise and spent nearly $200 for recharge and freon refill only to leave with my AC blowing out hotter air than it was when I drove in. I was told that I likely needed a new compressor. I had no interest in taking $200 hit but knew better than to return to that establishment and thus was willing to do so.
Feeling defeated, I was in desperate need of a fair, honest and reliable mechanic. I’m new to the area so I had to put my faith in google reviews. My feeling was to find a place in Phoenix assuming that prices would be higher in Scottsdale, but after reading many rave reviews about Scottsdale Mobil, I opted to bring the car there. When a call from Tom I was afraid to answer it, knowing the high cost of replacing a compressor as the tech at the previous place implied was likely necessary. Thankfully that was not the case. Not only was Tom was able to get my AC up and running (leaks fixed) in a few hours, he assembled my new passenger side mirror, and did all of this for $50 less than the original “service” I never received at the franchise repair shop.
He took the time to carefully explain to me that the fuse for the compressor was missing. This explained why I left the last place with the air blowing hotter than it was when I drove in.
It never occurred to me that I could possibly get a refund on the initial “repairs” and I would not have considered bothering had Tom not been adamant in me doing so. He coached me on exactly what to say to ensure I get a full refund. Scottsdale Mobile went as far to provide me with photocopies of the completed work, and proof of the missing fuse, and documentation to bring back to the first establishment. Tom was even willing to take the time to speak with them personally if it came down to that. I was happy enough to have my AC working for under $150 and skeptical about getting a refund but took Tom’s advice.
To my surprise, the franchise apologized profusely and refunded me in full. By the end of the day, I had AC, an installed rear view mirror, and was up $50 thanks to Tom’s insisting I get my money back. It was a great experience and a good day.
The best part is the peace in finding a trustworthy, ethical, well priced, mechanic to turn to when necessary. Go to Scottsdale Mobil, everyone needs a mechanic like Tom.

You know that scary feeling when you're driving and all of the sudden you just know there's something wrong with your car? In my case, it was the transmission making revving sounds while not advancing the gears, like I was stuck in first gear. This just happened to me, and luckily it was right by this Mobil station. Having lived in the area, I knew the station did brakes and tires, but I wasn't sure if they did more - but I was in a jam as my car wasn't driving properly, and turns out that - luckily - these guys do quite a bit more, including giving me a diagnostic assessment and the reassurance in what the trouble was. In my case, it was an electrical glitch that they were able to help me resolve, and I was able to get home safely without any problems. They gave me the facts straight up and told me what I could expect, and luckily my issue wasn't as big as it could've been. Even though the world can be pretty touch these days, I was grateful that Tom and his team seemed to understand my concern and were able to help me out. Thanks again!

air conditioning went out, brought the car in, tom and his wife were
great, friendly and thorough. they sent me pics of issues, leaks etc.
car was up and air was cold in no time. price was reasonable, thx for everything !

I had booked an appointment to get my brakes inspected and troubleshoot a few other issues. It only took John a few minutes to find my issues and explain the problems. Not only did he make the repair, which was not easy, he explained how and why every step of the way. It is hard to find an honest , confident and seasoned mechanic here in the valley, I feel lucky I found him, definitely will be going to him for future car issues and will recommend him with confidence.

Great service! My mother in law recommended this shop as she always receives wonderful service and we were not disappointed! My wife was having some issues with her LCD that other shops did not want to touch. Scottsdale Mobil was able to Re-Solder the connections and fix it up for a fraction of the cost of replacement from the dealer. Highly Recommend!
It is also very convenient that you can pick up after the shop closes from the Cashier up front.

I am living in Scottsdale for the past 10 years and have tried a lot of different repair shops. Without a doubt this place is the best. Friendly and courteous. Tommy is the best and cost of repairs are the most reasonable. I highly recomend this shop
