Honestly, I can't comment on the quality of training but can offer input regarding public behavior of an employee/owner/trainer?? Whoever commits daily assaults on their neighbors using a black Dodge Challenger needs a church or therapist. I'm not "that guy" when it comes to rude shitty drivers ( I get it--they are everywhere) but I haven't seen such consistent savagery on the road in years. The driver is violent and confrontational with rotten public behavior. Based on that alone, I won't go near the place.

0 stars. Keep your children away from this man. My teenage daughter had been to several training sessions with Mark on days she spends with her father. I have never met or spoken to him, nor does she go to his gym on days she is with me. Out of no where Mark emailed me, copying my daughter, and instructs me that we all need to meet to discuss the "commitment" my daughter made to his gym & "get on the same page." I'm sorry, who are you & you're telling me my own kid's commitments? Big mistake. No introduction, no asking me where we live, if I'm able to bring her, no consideration for anyone's schedule but his own. When I explained my daughter is obligated 6-7 days/nights a week as a pitcher on a competitive softball team & this is not something I was aware of, nor have time for regularly in her already busting at the seams schedule, he proceeded to copy my daughter on an email during the middle of her school day & upset her. The things he said, either he has comprehension issues or he's just a liar. He's unprofessional, doesn't know how to respect boundaries between parent/minors, and has the grammatical competence of a 5th grader. He makes out like he "just wants the best" for your child while guilt tripping them for not making his gym the priority over their own sports & schoolwork. What's best for your child is to stay away from this unprofessional ignorant man & his business.

Definitely Recommend Mark the owner. One of the best trainers I have seen since working out in gyms for 40 years. Constantly pushing and motivating his clients, correcting your form. I am seeing results in eveyone. Not a place for snowflakes though!

Stay as far away from this “business” as possible. Mark is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever trained with. He has a problem with women and just being respectful in general. He starts off decent and within a month or so you will see his true colors. He makes racist and homophobic comments and has no problem making these kind of comments in the gym and in front of the kids he trains. My husband and I decided to leave after the verbal abuse and then he refused to refund us back after we pre paid him for 6 months as a favor. He clearly needs the money because he is constantly losing clients. He has major emotional issues that he can’t control. Stay away and find a trainer that has integrity.

All of the negative reviews are spot on. Mark is a giant scum bag, a thief and a liar. He's extremely unprofessional and has a problem with women in general. He makes homophobic slurs in his gym and is just disrespectful and rude. Do yourself a favor and find a trainer with some integrity. My husband and I decided to leave after multiple confrontations with him and he refused to refund the $600 that we prepaid as a favor to him. He obviously needs the extra cash he stole because he can't keep clients. If you do make the unfortunate decision to train with him you should be prepared for a lot of moody BS on a regular basis after the first month or two.

I've known Mark for years, he's a great friend and equally a great trainer. I've been training with Mark for over a year now and I have never done the same workout twice. He listens to my goals and changes my workouts to my needs. I have low back issues and he makes sure every exercise I do does not aggravate my back. Every day I walk in he asks me how I feel and based upon my answer he will then change my workout. I am in the best shape I've ever been in. I attest this to him and his knowledge both in the gym and outside of the gym!

My husband and I are owners of FIX24 clinic in Scottsdale. I have trained in many of the gyms in Scottsdale as well as NYC (Dogpound and Aerospace). Mark H is very well versed in joint biomechanics as well as advanced fitness techniques. One session with Mark and you will realize there is no comparison to any other trainer in Scottsdale. 2 months into my personal training with Mark, I am seeing HUGE results. I have not looked this good in 15 years, even with Lifetime Fitness trainers! Mark custom builds the work out for your body type and what you can handle. He is kind, empowering and knows HOW TO TRAIN! At 45, I look better than most 25 year olds....member for life!
