Pool, hot tub, free hot breakfast, free bottles of water, free parking! Quiet and clean! price is reasonable in Scottsdale, super family friendly! Stayed here in December 2023.

I've seen more up to date rooms in sketchy motel 6's. I could barely fit in the 1960s shower, the faucet wouldn't drain, and the paint was hanging to the walls for dear life. The Elevator was broken (common trend on reviews here)The bed was pretty nice and so was the staff which were really the only redeemable points to our stay.

Very nice experience with the hotel. Check-in went easily. We had a room that led straight to the pool and hot tub (they are outside), so that was really convenient and nice. Hot tub was awesome!

Great experience! The location of it made it easy to access everywhere I wanted to go while in town. The hotel, rooms, breakfast and service were all excellent. Alexa, front desk service, was outstanding. She was personable, kind, professional and allowed my stay to much more comfortable. I'm so happy I chose this hotel for my weekend visit.

We stayed 11 days. When the regular housekeeping staff was off; service was non existent. All I wanted was fresh washcloths and garbage emptied daily...the tiny wastebaskets filled quickly daily. Morning front desk clerk never had a friendly expression on her face. The clerk who seemed to fill in for days off was always smiling and helpful. The lady in charge of breakfast area was super friendly. The real kicker was...after staying 11 nights; the elevator was out of service when we checked out this morning...I made 5 trips up/down 3 floors and my husband made 3. I think an adjustment should be made to our bill. It's as if management didn't care that there were guests for extended period with lots of stuff. Nothing was ever said or help offered.

Absolutely horrible experience. I drove 2100 miles to Scottsdale, had my reservation squared away well in advance, had the total, but when I went to check in, they tried charging an extra $200 for amenities deposit, which wouldn’t be an issue had they had that on the reservation like ALL other hotels do. When I complained about it, they said it was on the reservation, yet they could not show me where. When I left, they had not given me my ID back, so I had to return and the manager was so incredibly rude to me, he basically shoved the ID in my hand and, in front of other guests, told me to “Get Out!” As if I was a thief or did something wrong. I’ve never had such a horrible experience with any hotel in my life and have been a loyal IHG customer for 9 years, only to get ran off by a rude manager. I called customer service and they pretty much just “sorry about your luck”. Not the service, treatment, or anything I’d expect from a chain like this. So very disappointed and sad.

Room was old, faucet needed replacing, shower was very small. Bathroom door looked like someone's dog had been locked in the bathroom and tried to claw out. The window didn't shut in a catch and had no lock. Pool needed some TLC. Evening staff was nice, but morning girl in sweater looked annoyed to be there and inconvenienced to even look up from the computer screen while eating oatmeal. Location was good to access groceries, gas, and interstate. We did check out 2 days early and moved to a different hotel because of all the above and because we saw head housekeeper open a room that had the dnd on door handle, not announce herself, and then say "oh" when somebody in the room yelled they were in there. Something didn't feel right at this place.

We stayed in Scottsdale for a week. The room was very large. The staff was super friendly. Not so much with the front desk. I guess they have to be all business there. The breakfast was great! A few sketchy people running around, but no problems.Met some great people from all over. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms were clean and nice,service was great. Front desk was nice and helpful. Location was in a quiet part of Scottsdale. Lots a stores around to shop and eat. Breakfast was good.I will be back if I need to stay in the Phoenix area. Thank you Holiday Inn for a great stay.

Here on a business trip and decided on Holiday Inn Express....I hadn't booked my room yet due to appointments and wanted to do this after thinking about my meetings and how day one went....walked in and was able to get a room at an ok rate ($180ish per night). Good customer service and the breakfast is really quite good for an economy type hotel chain. Had omelette and sausage links with OJ. They have yogurt, oatmeal and you can make waffles too. Rooms were nice and I liked that you could exit the room two ways...inside the hotel or it had a small patio you could have coffee outside the room and you could park right next to your door! That door takes your room key so it was ultra convenient. Shower was super clean....bed was too and had nice pillows and mattress. I docked them one star due to a slight sulfur smell coming from the sink drain. I have stayed here on a past trip and will use them again when I return in a couple weeks. Tons of parking and it's located in a quiet area. All the usual things like free Wi-Fi.

Great location, Great staff. Clean room with nice shower pressure. Breakfast is standard HIE. NIce lodging option when in area.

Really bad experience. I had two bookings and cancelled one on time but they claimed I didn't cancel on time. So I got charged two rooms for one night stay. The manager was not willing to work with me. Unfortunately IHG structure is they let franchise owners make their own decisions even though the evidence from the cancellation is in the corporate customer service. I escalated and corporate said I am on my on. I had to give up on it after it was too much back and forth with an ornery manager. Blacklisted in my book

I really dislike giving bad reviews, but sometimes it's necessary! I only stayed here one night because this place is GROSS! I'm a high-standing member with IHG because I travel alot, but this place gives "Motel" vibes. The pictures speak for themselves. Stay here at your OWN RISK! (side note) I tried to get a different room, but I was told they were sold out! (yeah right)!

Too many requests that the front desk at night would say we don't know or out it off. Nice lace to stay but would pay more to stay somewhere else. Didn't think this side of Scottsdale was the best either.

This is a great place. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. If your are planning on staying in Scottsdale, AZ you should definitely pick this place!!!
