My stay at Extended Stay in Scottsdale AZ was not good! Where to start? I guess I’ll list the issues; 1. The mattress was horrific. It felt like a hideaway sofa bed. I could feel the springs while I laid on it. 2. The first night there the neighboring room decided to sit outside my room from 11:30pm to 2:45am and act as if it was the middle of the day. Loud talking, playing music, squeezing a dogs squeak toy and some electronic kiddie toy were bombarding the whole area. I attempted to contact the front desk but they do not have anyone available after 10pm. I had to call Scottsdale PD at 2am with a noise complaint. 3. The following morning, at 9am, the front desk knocked on my door. She was there with two men from an exterminator service. I was told they needed to spray my room immediately. Nice wake up call after a night of no sleep thanks to the noise. 4. I spent my two night stay annihilating roaches. The exterminator apparently didn’t work. 5. I asked the front desk for an extra blanket. I couldn’t get one unless I paid extra for it. Really? 6. The way the shower curtain is mounted the curtain can’t be tucked into the shower. When I exited the tub I stepped into a lake.
After the time I spent there I can safely say I will NEVER stay at another Extended Stay hotel!!!

Bad experience. Elevator and rug’room was dirty. The girl at front desk seems to be so tired or on drugs. The on/off button didn’t work. I won’t recommend it.

A terrible experience. I was surprised considering the location that this facility was in such unfavorable condition.

Horrible experience. Room was not properly cleaned, there were a black stains on a bathtub like a dirt or coil dust. No cloth hangers (only one plastic one). They provide you with 1 peace of soap and 1 tiny tube of shampoo - that’s it! Room cleaning and clean towels only for additional price. Loud and extremely unsafe environment.

Have stayed here before and experience has been okay. Last visit, a major disappointment. Roach and ant invasion. Not pleasant at all. Very disappointing.
Rooms: Having a fridge and microwave is a plus

The general manager, Mike, is very caring and kind. Our stay here has been amazing.

Roach infested rooms .. we had 2 rooms in different areas of the hotel and BOTH were roach infested.. and also people arguing everywhere it was not safe or clean

Roaches and other bugs. This was the worst place I've stayed in 20 years. Walking into the lobby, it had strong Motel 6 vibes. I don't know what it's doing in Scottsdale. Dirty, gross, no hand towels (not a single one), no hair dryer. Super hard bed with wafer thin pillows. All for $140/night. Never again. Now I see people have been complaining about roaches for MONTHS, and apparently they just don't care. Also no breakfast anymore of any kind. I come to Scottsdale 1-2x every year and will avoid this place at any cost.

Horrible experience. Roaches every day. Fresh towels are $1.75 each. Room cleaning is $10. If you want kitchen pots, pans, bowls, plates, silverware, they are for PURCHASE.

Not good. Had to "request" another room, roaches...yep.
Filthy table and counter top..yep.
Sheets....obvious previous habitation..oh yes.

Recently changed to no amenities, charge for fresh sheets, took away breakfast. Yelling at night often.

The front desk person was a serious tweetker, she refused to let me in because she was doing a night audit despite my reservation, then literally threw a fit slammed doors and stopped "her effing audit just so I could have a room". The place is dirty, it stinks, the clientele is disgusting and it hasn't had a remodel since the 70's. I would not stay again even for free.

I rent for 4 night and moved 3 time to diffrent room. First room was very noisy with electrical issue. Second room infested by German Roach and third one was clean but TV not working. Ryan was nice and helped for TV and other things. Another problem is hotel infested by gang, drug, drunk people and prostution. I could smell of grass and alcohol at parking area. I didn't feel safe. It was odd for N Scottsdale area.

Definitely like how the front desk guy Ryan he is very nice willing to be helpful good customer service and good attitude in Vib.Very quite location. Rooms are decent and the price isn’t bad. Like that they have kitchenette. I would refer friends and family to stay here super liked the location and the quietness
Rooms: The rooms are OK but at least they have kitchenettes AC door that locks TV table you can ask for dishes and they’ll be happy to give it to you along with cleaning stuff
Safety: Very quite. I didn’t have to worry
