I have walked past this place several times. I was always afraid to go in because it is obviously high end and although I wouldn't say I'm poor, I am solidly middle class income range and very frugal. Anyhow I was sure I would be ignored and made to feel awkward, why waste your time with someone who likely can't afford your product. The first thing that struck me was how friendly and willing Michele, Italian for Michael, was willing to help. Very friendly and disarming in my opinion. The second thing I noticed is the absolute quality of the clothing. For years I've gone into high end retailers and wondered why I would spend over a hundred dollars for a shirt. Sure they looked nice but so do shirts from any other place. Maybe the fabrics are better, not sure, but when fashion changed so often who cares, buy it cheap and get another when that wears out. But this place was very different. I had no question why they were expensive. I don't know Jack about fabric, stitching, inks or whatever but even not knowing what quality of style and craftsmanship really looks like these screamed it so you have to know. I met the owner after visiting this place and each shirt is either one of a kind, made specifically for this place with very limited chances to get them or there is only one of what you are looking at. That is your shirt and no one else will have it. They have two stores, one in the Biltmore, which is where I went first, and one at Kierland in Scottsdale. The I went over to Kierland to find a white shirt that was not in my size at Biltmore. The owner told me if I saw it at Biltmore it would not be at Kierland that's why I think all these shirts are one of a kind. He may have told me they are but at the very least they are rare. So if you want quality that anyone can see, style that will draw compliments, then the price tag here is quite affordable. I'm guessing these shirts would start at $500 at Nordstrom and even more at Neiman Marcus. So even if you can afford one nice shirt I think this place is worth a look. I don't think you will be disappointed.
