I recently purchased 2013 Honda Fit from Kyle G at Chapman Value Scottsdale. He was an amazing salesman. I scheduled an appointment to see the car. When I got there he met me at the door and had already had the car pulled up front ready for me to test drive. After chatting with him about the car I decided to buy it. He had all the paperwork ready and went over everything step by step and was incredibly patient with me. He made the experience quick and easy!! Best car buying experience I have ever had!!!

I don’t recommend this dealership. They increased the price of the vehicle last minute and failed to honor the original price of the vehicle when confronted. Not worth the headache or back and forth.

I went in to pick up a car that I had already put a down payment on. I was told that it would be a 15-30 minute wait while they got all the forms ready. I then waited for more than 2 HOURS while absolutely nothing happened. In those 2 hours of utter inaction, I noticed a few other concerning things about this establishment:
-While I paced the sales floor there were at least 4 employees sitting on their phones in their offices with airpods in the entire time I was there. I spent nearly my entire night in the building and never noticed any of them do literally anything. They got paid to fart around for 2 hours and asked me to do it for free.
-On the desk in one of the offices (the one where my sale took place) was a photocopy of another client’s driver’s license, just laying out in the open. I was also left completely alone on the sales floor for extended periods of time with a door labeled “sensitive documents” that was left wide open. IF YOU BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS NOT SECURE. I cannot stress this enough, it would be remarkably easy for anyone to steal someone’s identity from this unbelievably mismanaged dealership.
-The salesmen were adamant about upselling me and having me pay for things I didn’t want. Apparently they wanted to waste both my time and money. Sleazy and lazy is a terrible combination.
-To reiterate, I was there for more than 2 hours to sign a few documents. I had no reason to think I would be spending my evening there so I didn’t think to bring any of my own entertainment, but evidently they didn’t think to provide any either. Aside from the lone pair of Chapman promotional magazines and a TV in the break room I could catch a glimpse of through a window, all I could do was pace around the sales floor.
Not once throughout the process did I feel valued as a customer nor respected as a person. I had plans that night that had to be pushed back because Chapman Value Center could not figure out any way to get together the documents so I could sign them in less than 2 hours (I waited more than 8 times longer than the wait time I was told). I am indignant that they treated me like my time didn’t matter and I will not forget how little they thought of my for a long, long time. Based on the trend I’ve seen on here from other negative reviews, I’m anticipating either a copy-and-paste “we’re sorry :( “ message or the claim that somehow my problems with this dealership were my fault in some way. Neither of these will be even close to sufficient. The way i was treated here was absolutely unacceptable, full stop. If you have any respect for your time and want to work with people who hold the same respect, DO NOT EVEN PULL ON TO THE LOT of chapman value center.

Had the absolute best buying experience thanks to my man Anthony, he made sure all my needs were meet, and he was super chill, didn’t beat around the bush and was real down to earth. I’ll only be buying cars from him while I’m in AZ, highly recommend asking to work with him for all your car buying needs! Thanks again!

I had a fantastic experience working with Anthony when purchasing my new car. From the beginning, his communication was excellent, he kept me informed every step of the way without ever pressuring me into making a decision. The entire process was smooth and easy, thanks to his professionalism and attention to detail. What really stood out was that Anthony went above and beyond making it one of the easiest car purchases I have ever made. He offered to personally drive the car to me to Flagstaff, making the experience even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better car-buying experience and highly recommend Anthony and Chapman value Scottsdale to anyone looking for a new vehicle!

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. If you want a used car, go here and ask for Anthony. He went above and beyond in making my car buying experience fantastic. Also big shout out to Robert, Wes, Decker and Steven for going out of their way to send me home with a good car and great experience! Everyone was really friendly and helpful, without being the stereotypical pushy overbearing car salesmen. I can tell that the work culture here prioritizes comfort and satisfaction, and would recommend them to anyone.

Dishonest, unethical, selling cars they know are not mechanically sound.
I made the terrible mistake of buying a car from here. First thousands of dollars in extra fees were added to agreed upon sale amount. When signing paper work I pointed this out but was blatantly lied to and told these costs were “included” in the agreed upon price but they were added on after the fact adding thousands of dollars to an already overpriced vehicle. I was willing to write off the extra money they got me for just happy to have a reliable vehicle but the moment I drove it off the lot it started making a rattle and clanking noise from the front end. As soon as I heard this I realized I had been played by the salesman who started speaking at an extremely high volume, basically shouting every time we took off from a stop during my test drive. I had been sold on this “warranty” when I bought the car so I was hopeful they would fix the issue. I wasted time and money taking it to their service center, being lied to and told it was fixed only to pick it up and have the exact same issue with no change. Long story short the vehicle has bad struts the salesman and service center were well aware of this but took steps to hide this so they could sell it. This will cost thousands of dollars to fix in addition to the thousands of dollars I already overpaid. Despite having only driven this car from the lot to my home and it still being under “warranty” they refuse to fix the issue. This place is a joke and I’m an idiot for going there, make a better choice than I did.

Listen chapman value center by far the best auto purchase experience of my life. I applied only for a BMW convertible with my damaged credit thought longshot, but my man Anthony Matera when to bat for me from the go !!! New exactly what car was my choice and as he promised delivered even helped get insurance at affordable rates .. im telling you go to chapman value center look for this young man that has integrity work ethic and what most in this day in age dont have a mans word!!!! Anthony special thanks for doing the best job a sales man can do you sir one over not just business but a friend thank you and many thanks and blessing !!!!
