Best price for an oil change these days. $50 for full synthetic. Hard costs are replaced by soft costs though. Had an appointment for 1p. Car wasn't ready until after 6p.

I have witnessed quite possibly the worst customer service from any auto service at brake masters #148. From the beginning of the inquiries, there were significant discrepancies in price estimates. Upon dropping the car off, we were told we would be paying $370 for front brake pads and rotors. After my car was finished (I dropped it off prior to 7:30am and it wasn’t finished until 4:30 pm), I went in and Felicia (supposedly the manager) told me I owed $408. I had mentioned that the price was supposed to be $30 cheaper. She refused and said that I still owed $408, followed by a snarky comment about how I needed to bring my car back for the back brakes before I do the same thing as the front. I was in awe but nonetheless, left the store calmly. After leaving, I called my mother and recounted the interaction for her. She knew that this was inappropriate and that I should not allow them to treat me in this manner. We were able to settle this business, but after our interactions with Felicia, we would never be returning to brake masters.. or so I thought. Today, June 10 is 5 days after my work was completed. I was away for the weekend and had not driven my car. This morning I was driving to work when my car started grinding and shaking. I felt unsafe even driving the car and knew that I needed to return to brake masters, despite the bad experiences prior. After a brake inspection, it was determined that the caliper was not fully tightened after the work completed on 6/5. I knew that based on Felicia announcing herself as the manager and face of brake masters #148, I couldn’t trust the work that was being done to my car. I urge you, whomever is reading this message, to reevaluate the service you are providing.

Do not go here! They did a complete front end repair ball joints tie rods control arms they put in the wrong ball joints. Causing way more damage than I first had..wear on tires the ball joints are toast now. And it ruined the nuckles. Went from 2k fix with these guys to 3k now. Noope won't be going back. Not to mention the truck was not safe to drive. Wow!! Stay away from here go to the one up by costco..they first spotted all the things wrong even offered to do the work and then have the bill sent to here.
Beware.

I had an appointment for my car to get an oil change @10:30AM today. After checking in, I was told that it was going to be 2 hours, which was absurd considering it is a week day, and I had an appointment. After 2 hours, I had decided to call to check in on the status of the car. It had not even been pulled in to the bay yet, and I was told that it will be another one, up to one and half hour until it gets to the bay, and another 45 minutes after that. This is place was the last resort because it is the closest shop to me. I have been going in and out the hospital all week due to my partner being sick, and my car was overdue for an oil change as of last week, otherwise I'd be going to a different spot but this one is the closest one to me. Based on the other positive reviews given by others, I thought this place would at least be a little better but I was wrong.

This location is very accommodating for same day diagnostics and service, the go above and beyond to help. The women manager is very knowledgeable and provides excellent communications with photos and description of the problems. Scott

Upon arriving for my 9:00 am oil change appointment at Brake Masters at Scottsdale Road & Shea, Tyler asked me if I wanted a free tire rotation that was included in the $49 Oil Change Coupon I submitted. I told him that it wasn’t needed and he also let me know about additional services that I should expect down the road. He was very courteous and had me out the door in less than an hour.

I took my vehicle in for emissions repair and a manager by the name of Tyler kept me updated and gave me a fair price. He also made suggestions which I took like recharging my AC system and now my AC is blowing nice and cold air. I will definitely not go anywhere else but Brake Masters in the future preferably with Tyler!!!

I bought used car and brought it to Breakmaster to have them work on it. Both Felicia and Tyler were outstanding. My car was vibrating and they spent hours looking to correct it. We were able to correct and replace items that were not installed correctly and now I feel safe driving the car thanks to their patience and really talking such good care of the car. Highly recommend this shop!

I made an appointment for a synthetic oil change. Brakemasters was running a $49 special. Upon my arrival, Tyler was very receptive & I was given immediate attention.
A thorough oil change was performed that included a diagnosis to troubleshoot potential problems. Tyler recommended a brake fluid flush. But he didn't try to upsell his services. He also examined my tires even though they do not provide tire service.
The final price on these "specials" is usually higher due to unexpected add ons. But I was pleasantly surprised when the bill was for the advertised price.
I recommend Brakemasters for all automotive services. Their prices are reasonable & the customer service is very impressive.
