i have been there several times for garage door opener batteries and key fob batteries. always helpful and friendly!

Had a puffy rechargeable lithium laptop battery, staff said they would not accept it for recycle. Called another store, said they would accept it but it would cost $15.
Just go to Lowes to recycle puffy rechargeable batteries. They will accept them for free, puffy and all, as long as they aren't damaged.

I went into this North Scottsdale Batteries Plus location.. I asked the guy at the counter if he had a battery for the key fob I was holding.He responded “we sure do”. He said that will be $22.50. I asked how it could be $22.50. His response was that was it had lifetime replacements. I told him I only wanted the battery. He said they also offer a one time replacement for $17.50. I said again that I did not want any future replacements as I am ready to sell the vehicle . He asked if I knew what kind of battery it was. I told him I did not. He replied “well, neither do I” I took my key fob back from him that he was holding, turned and walked outSo think about this, the guy tells me he had the battery for the fob, but when I didnt want to buy one it $17.50 or $22 for one battery, he suddenly didn’t know what kind of a battery it was. .I went home, went online, searched the battery type required and quickly found a 2 pack of name brand batteries. I ordered and they could be delivered to my house the same day for under $2.00 per battery. There were other batteries far cheaper, but I went with the name brand.I have replaced them myself many times. If you are concerned with how to replace one go online and see a video.This Batteries Plus store sells batteries with techniques of a bad used car dealer selling an extended warranty . They are rude and a complete rip off.

My car battery presented with extreme corrosion and the technician Jake was awesome. He took the time to carefully remove the corrosion and install my new battery. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received.

MAJOR DISCONNECT WITH ONLINE BUYING. Website said they had the inventory, offered a discount, so I bought them. I received an email that my order had been placed and in short order I was to expect another confirmation email from the exact store.Nothing for 3 hours and I needed it badly, so drove to the store. They did NOT have the items I paid for, claimed the website is ALWAYS WRONG ON INVENTORY and Upcharged me to buy them same they had in stock. This completely negated the online discount and was DEFINITELY A BAIT AND SWITCHWhat an absolute HORRIBLE experience. I would have saved time, money and effort if I would have gone to Home Depot and bought these. Worse yet Batteries Plus played games of BAIT AND SWITCH to get you to pay higher prices after allegedly giving you a discount.What an unethical business, never again.

This is my go to store for batteries for pretty much everything I own. I currently have their batteries in 3 different motorcycles and will continue to use them due to their selection of batteries, pricing and customer service.
