I am an Icon Member with Athleta. I understand their change in the 30 day policy return. Unfortunate, as many, stated in other reviews offer a greater window. It has definitely affected my purchases with Athleta. While other retailers I shop with, including Lululemon, Vuori, and Alo, understand the value of a good customer, one day late, and I’m not able to return in store. More importantly, when I return anything at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, I get an associate who views me as a nuisance, so much so that I am shopping more at other retailers, as they are friendly and more flexible. I would go so far as to say the sales associates at Kierland can even be rude. This is from a customer who spends thousands of dollars a year with this company. I will start looking elsewhere for my athletic wear. So disappointed as I am a very good customer.

100% agree with other reviewers re the rudeness and snooty attitude of employees at this Kierland Commons Athleta. As with the other shoppers, the employees were not willing to do an exchange for me (a gift item) and offered no options. The next day I was able to return and exchange the gift item at the Athleta GILBERT, AZ store. It took 5 minutes, and it was handled with professionalism and a respectful attitude. Do not bother to give your business to Athleta Kierland in Scottsdale!

This stores customer service representatives are unaccommodating and unhelpful. I attempted to do a return that was one day outside of their very strict 30 day return policy. While I understand policies are in place for a reason I find it shocking that a manager is unable to make an accommodation for a return one day outside of the gift receipt. I have certainly learned my lesson and in the future will not shop here due to the inflexibility and rude sales associates. This may be one of the many reasons gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic are losing millions of dollars each quarter and are forced to close doors. Stores like LuluLemon, Nordstrom and Target that have excellent customer service are flourishing. There is a reason for this.

I love Athleta apparel very much, but this store wasn't as pleasant as others the day I went. No assistance or acknowledgement from staff and it felt a bit unclean in the sale area. Did not find anything I wanted to purchase.

The customer service at this store is absolutely horrible. I came in to do an even exchange within the 60 day limit and was charged $16 more just because. The only solution was return all the money back to the original card (it was all a gift). I ended up eating the $16 so I could have the right sized clothing. Will NEVER come back to this location as this is not the first bad experience I’ve had here.

I did an in store pick up for a backpack for my daughter, when I picked it up I told the sales girl it’s too small, can you cancel it? She said I bet it will work. Take it home to try, never mentioning there was a short return policy. When I had a chance to return it as a working mom, not one but two employees be extremely rude to me in front of several other customers that I was out of the return window. I would never have kept the backpack the first day if the employee had not pushed it.

Rude management and terrible customer service. I bought pants there a year ago. $100 pants. They have holes in them already!!! My Lululemon pants lasted through 2 pregnancies and ten years with no holes. Save your money and go to Lululemon. And much better management and customer service!

The employees were beyond rude & the policy is absurd. Not to mention the employee the first day bullied me into "trying" the backpack.

Incredibly rude management! Was re-signing up for an WellPro account because I am a fitness instructor. The manager who helped me sign up was incredibly rude and condescending. The associates were incredibly kind and helpful. The products are good quality but management needs to be reviewed and kinder.
