A gallery full of beautiful books & things worth buying. Gregory has a great personality with a touch of spunk & little bit of funk.

My husband and I came out to stroll the galleries in Old Town on Thanksgiving Day and Gregory greeted us warmly and enthusiastically. My husband bought a postcard set titled, Indian Arts & Images (ZON International Publishing, Santa Fe, New Mexico) commemorating Native American ethnographic material culture. Gregory is a delight to chat with and it's a beautiful day because of it! Please support Scottsdale small business! ??

Lots of fun! Although I wonder what he did in a previous lifetime. I bet it was fun, whatever it was.

The best book store! Gregorio is quirky and charming and he makes sure everyone feels welcomed and valued. I appreciated him for taking the time to give me book recommendations and answer all my questions. The customer service sets this place apart, I highly recommend Arizona West Galleries

Found this fun spot on Yelp. It is definitely worth popping in to peruse the various books, art pieces, and collectibles while enjoying a relaxing time in Old Town Scottsdale. The owner is personable and a joy to chat with. Another added bonus is you can support a small business rather than some corporate chain cookie-cutter mega-store. That's always a win in my book ;-)

Just LOVE Greg. First time I met this guy. I had to browse his store. I love books and just fell in love with the store. He is just so friendly, down to earth and no BS about him. Could have spend the entire day with him. Will be back. Love ya Greg

I've walked Main Street a million times and never went into Arizona West Galleries until today. And am I glad I did! What a find! Browsing books outside, a voice from inside said, "Want to buy a book?" That's all it took. We walked inside and chatted with, gallery owner, Greg Hays, a gregarious, enthusiastic, friendly, hilarious, extremely intelligent man for 30 minutes. We talked Maynard Dixon (of who his family has a large collection of), politics, health and more! His store is difficult to describe - a haphazard collection of art, books of all genres (including childrens), horse saddles, mirrors, etc. It's layout is orderly chaotic. We walked out with some hugs and his family written book titled, Space Silent Spirit Maynard's Dixon's West, of which Greg signed. We feel like we have a new friend and definitely will be back with regularity. If you haven't been, please do go. You won't be disappointed.
