I have been coming to this Ajs for almost five years and for the most part I have not had many complaints. However, today I felt so uncomfortable with how I was spoken to that it’s time for me to speak my peace about this specific location. There are very few employees that work here that are very nice and helpful, but the majority of the people that work at this location seem to hate their job, they are unable to be kind/respectful, and it’s almost always short staffed. It baffles me that an establishment/corporation can charge the community so much and give the absolute worst customer service. I will reluctantly come into this store going forward and I will never recommend it to others. It’s worth it to drive a little bit down the road to a better store.

I love this AJs, and so I hate to write this. I will continue to come, but I want management to know what happened. I politely inquired on product pricing for an item, and Sophia said “that’s just not my highest priority right now” in a huge huff. I specifically had come in to buy this item (look at their Valentines stuff), and I was treated so rudely and made to feel like a fool. I politely said, “I understand it’s not your highest priority, but is there someone else I can ask then bc I specifically came in for this?” Sophia called the manager, who never showed. Luckily, Tylin, a kind employee, saw the situation, took sympathy, and stepped in. AJs is known for its service, and this was truly shocking. There’s so many great people working here, it’s a shame when something like this happens. Sophia must have a hard life and inner world if that is how she’s treating customers at her job, and I hope she gets the help and support she needs. It’s certainly rattled me and thrown off my morning.

Absolutely garbage. Pizza is stale, service is terrible, A bald guy with tattoos said to me I was wasting napkins? Please get him fired. Never coming to this AJs again. Ordered a coke from the drink counter, waited 5 minutes for the barista to get my drink, which was just a root beer from the fountain machine. Constantly out of stock with groceries and drinks. If this could be zero starts it would be.

We ordered the boneless prime rib "heat and eat" meal for Christmas Day. The pick up for the meal went very smoothly. Directions for heating each item were clear. The meat should take 30-60 minutes. We had hoped to eat about 4:30 so put the meat in at 3:30. An hour after the meat had cooked, the temperature read 40 degrees. Finally at 7 pm by cutting into the roast the meat was at least warm, so we ate it. It had never reached the temperature for medium rare. The scalloped potatoes were very bland. The beans almondine were weird. They looked cooked but tasted raw. The pie and rolls were good. The only thing I can guess is that the meat had been frozen and was still frozen in the center when we picked it up. I had hoped we would be getting a very good meal for Christmas, and it surely didn't happen. It was not the quality I expected from AJ's. Peggy Goodwin

What has happened to my beloved AJ's? Been shopping at this location for 20+years. The store seems crowded as, for whatever reason, they have decided to restage their non-food items. Why fix something that is not broken? With the exception of floral, which continues to be outstanding, service levels have plummeted. The check-out staff is far from friendly - just going through the motions. With one or two exceptions, staff constantly changes. I don't "recognize" the Deli any longer. I've mentioned to the Manager on a few occasions, that there is one Associate in the Meat Department that should be terminated. He's obnoxious and, actually this evening lost a sale of 8 lobster tails, because he wouldn't answer my simple question of..."how much are the lobster tails". He kept yelling at me "how many you want"? Turned me off and we walked out. I've always loved this location but I may have to change and see if another one is any better.

We absolutely love AJs we're there at least 3x per week. The staff and management are super friendly and helpful! The Energy drinks are my new favorite and they have so many awesome seasonal desserts! This morning we got the Berry energy drink/ Tropical Energy drink and the Breakfast burrito! Last week we enjoyed steak sandwiches from the Barbecue Grill on the patio!

Went in to talk about their thanksgiving menu options and asked if they had any allergen information for the meal/sides. They said they feel out each item and put in what they feel it needs. While I understand they have creative freedom I would like to think there would be some allergen guide. This is the only food establishment I have ever been to that could not provide nutrition and allergy information. I would recommend not stopping at any AJs if you have any sort of allergy.
