Excellent service at most any time of the day. I get that we all to have wait at this office for our services, because our Government doesn't see the need here in San Luis, AZ., but everything is usually smooth and fast moving at this Post Office, and I sincerely appreciate it.

Recently was in this Post office and apparently I had past fue the month for box service . Was explaining upfront at the counter why did I had my box close and they said you service is due and had to provide a service address . I told the clerk (Lucy) that if it's close how am I to provide a service address if they locked my box. And shekept on replying you need to pay the service fee . I was told if you provide that you live in the proper address you don't need to pay any fees . So I explained to her . I've had issues before about gabig my street address on my mail and had mailed returned to the sender fue to not having a PO box number on my shipment mail ,so I place all my ordered to that PO box that we now gave on San luis az .so to prove i have an address I showed her my state ID and she she reply that's not a valid proof ..it's a state ID and driver li6hiw us that not legit masm .so now i asked for a mod and still said the same thing ... Had to pay and now wait till next year and deal with the same issue because none of my mail have street address and my license is not a valid id ... To me it's just money they want to collect ...hope they can open a different post office or work on there customer skills ...ahh and I am handicap which makes it harder to be in that office daily ...wait and the manager on duty assumed I threw thenotice of the service away like if I had time to wait the long lines standing there which I find it complicated due to my disability. To argue with them and discuss the situation about the notice I do call received and threw away ..yes I have time to go argue the situation..work on customer service please

The staff are great and friendly. When they see me in line they greet me by my name. And also, they wish me a good day when services are done.

Just a couple of service flaws, but altough they are just 3, they are big serious flaws, specially when living outside US bounds.1.- EARLY CLOSING. They open customer service from 9:00am, and they close at 4:45pm (Monday through Friday), or even earlier, when there is too much going on. Really, at 4:45pm? could they extend it like, 7:00pm or at 6:00pm? (specifically for those who have full-time jobs).2.- NO RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY. Even if we have manage to live in the US, there is absolutely no delivery to an property, only P.O. Box delivery. Not that big deal when living in the city of San Luis, but imagine for people with disabilities for preventing them from walking, they don't issue their packages at all, the owner must come with, so they can. God...3.- PACKAGES HALT IN THE WAREHOUSE, EVEN IF THEY ARE SMALL. Larger packages, makes sense why they halt them in their warehouse, because they are too big to deliver them to a P.O. Box locker, but smaller ones too? These days, they even halt them, because they claim they are "large" to be delivered, and this post office, consist of extra package lockers, that have a key, with a tag number on them, after we open our P.O. Box lockers, so we can pick our packages if they are slightly larger. Why they held smaller packages in their warehouse, and gave us a 2-week limit receipt, to claim it only at Customer Service Hours? If they going to do that, when why they have their big blue package lockers around, and not doing anything with them?.My conlusion, if they are going to have larger packages in a P.O. Box locker, this post office is not recommended for people who are living outside US. These people working here, need more time, and patience to dig deeper to follow the entire protocols, I feel these people, are just "TEMP PEOPLE".

They have some really good workers here very helpful and knowledgeable. Only had trouble with one of the younger guys attitude some time ago.Lines can get long during peak times but they are quick. The worst thing is when you have to pick up a package it can be really slow. You can spend from 5 to 15 minutes on the worst day.

This is the worst post office I’ve ever had to get any piece of mail from I tried to renew my P.O. Box over 2 months ago before it had to be renewed and they changed my lock on my P.O. Box and took my 78$ and never returned it . Let alone that , someone else’s mail was always being delivered into my little box and when I notified them they never changed that so everyday I was receiving his mail even though I kept giving them the mail to stop that problem

The customer representative who helped me on two different occasions was disrespectful and rude. He has no manner and doesn't know how to appropriately talk to customers who are only worried about their package and have questions. I even expressed my concerns to him about his demeanor and he didn't care and told me "go ahead and talk to my supervisor." His name was Jose Perez and I will make sure this gets elevated with his supervisor.

Still don’t know why this town doesn’t have home delivery that post office was not made for the size that this town has become plus you have people from Mexico that have P.O. Boxes here it’s in a bad location gets to crowded and in the middle of were agriculture workers coming from Mexico make line to cross another bad thing is if you make the mistake of putting home address on your delivery they will send it back post office should be able to match it to your PO Box they have all your information!

Not has bad has it was at one point. The big problem is the size of the Post Office and number of employees is far too small for the number of residents. There is no residential delivery of mail, you have to have a p.o. box, but there are not enough. The attitude of the employees in the past have been the rudest I've seen but has improved. Don't expect to get your packages the day it says its available though, at this office it takes an extra day or two or three to actually be able to pick them up.

To this day I'm still baffled as to why San Luis az doesn't have mail delivery, this is the worst post office I've been to, if you have a package might as well wait two extra days to go and pick it up cause that's how long it takes for them to sort it
