Not sure how this cloen service is getting more stars. This funeral home was very disrespectful at my loved ones services. Two clowns in suits and backwards caps didn't take the services seriously. Not to mention requests made were not followed. Go elsewhere people, you'll save yourself a lot of stress and headache. Give your loved ones a proper, respectful, and stress free burial.

Summit Funeral Home did an outstanding job with my father and his service. They were professional, courteous and very understanding. They were able to perform my father's service in a timely manner. They were able to help us submit what we needed to the Navajo Nation. Also the two guys that showed up at the grave site did an outstanding job. The work they did on my father was also great. Lastly thank you to all the Summit staff we appreciated the great service in our time of grieving.

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend this mort to handle any of your loved ones or rearrange their bodies for that matter.. Reason I say that is because of how they run their business is very shady… Having said that was all in due from a couple months back after my grandfather’s passing, we looked into summit.. They wouldn’t mind at first, problem was they couldn’t grant permission from my mother (she was the Power of Attorney at the time) since they preferred his next of spouse (grandmother) for signature release from the hospital my grandfather passed or frm their office (summit funeral home) and other discussion’s.. So we opted to look elsewhere. What really ticked us off or ‘rubbed the wrong way’ was one of the officials of summit home, showed up at the hospital (Phoenix, AZ) my grandfather passed from and ready to transport his body back to the Navajo reservation. We DID NOT grant PERMISSION to have them take the body or claim them as our designated option!!! Fortunately, the proper mortuary we designated from another town caught on to their shenanigans once they showed up.. That was a disgrace act of unethical procedures they displaced that day. Very greedy in terms of financially! Plus, the hospital should’ve known better to get ahold of us prior to releasing my grandfather’s body for transport. So think twice before approaching this place ..

Please do not take your dearly, departed loved ones here. Summit staff informed me after the fact that they were incapable of washing, dressing decedent's due to Covid, did not provide any documents, and provide no proof of what they did with clothes, jewelry given to dress our beloved, and price gouged their services. Cope Memorial in Gallup is a MUCH BETTER place and probably because they have been in business for far longer and have much more experience. Summit staff are very shady and do not disclose much information on the services they provide.

The staff at Summit Funeral Home have been great with helping us. They explained the process and paper work. Benson answered all our questions and when he wasn't available another staff was able to assist. I appreciate the service they provided.
