Disputes department lied to me. They closed a dispute without reviewing any of the documents I submitted. When I asked, they said it would be escalated and I'd receive more info by April 14th. It's now May 6th and nothing. When I called back, they said there was a note to escalate it but no one ever looked at it. I took all my money out of my accounts and currently have 11 NSF fees each for $33, that I was told cannot be be reversed.Customer service is garbage, especially the outsourced dispute team that can't keep anything straight, doesn't care and lies

THEY MESSED UP BOTH OF MY ZELL ACCOUNTS SO THAT I CAN NOT USE EITHER OF THEM!!!! My whole family uses Zelle to transfer funds to each other. I am now out of that loop because of TFCUI have/had two Zelle accounts. Now I can't use either of them because of TFCU. THEY WILL SCREW UP YOUR MONEY!!!! Also their ATM's are frequently not working. don't even bother; you will have better luck getting cash back at a grocery store.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We recently moved to the area and selected Tucson Federal Credit Union as our local financial institution. I have never encountered an employee who has not provided exemplary customer experience. Whoever does their hiring and training should be highly commended as they have hired and trained the best of the bunch. I just cannot speak highly enough about them. They have the latest in technology as well, which is a bonus for a technology geek like me.

Our experience with TFCU has been wonderful! Carly who works there is awesome and as far as we can we can see, the other folks on her team are also wonderful! I remember we had a check (quite a large sum) deposited into our checking account by a nephew, as I had left check at home intending to make deposit on way to airport a few days prior, but when he made deposit, he was not told there would be a hold (this is a check that has gone into our account monthly for almost 5 years so not a new check and not personal, a state check). When I called to ask why our funds were on hold, the gentleman at the toll free number explained her could nothing about home and when I asked to speak to my branch in Sahuarita, he transferred me and I got Carly on the phone who knows me by name and took her seconds to lift hold and help me out. I'm sorry others had a bad experience, but we love this institution!

The Board of Directors believe they're running a bank. Their policies are sneaky. As example, they will close your accounts, without notice to you, if a year passes with no activity. You then have to start over as a new member (new cards, new checks etc.) with all new accounts. Also their rates aren't competitive. They charge more interest on loans, and pay less interest on investments than other credit unions. Their motto is "better than a bank". They're not. They either forgot the reason they are a credit union, or never really understood it to begin with. Despite their name, this is virtually a bank. No difference.

I would have liked to give a 4 or 5 star review but a couple of things make me give 3. My wife and i opened a checking account yesterday. Megan was polite and friendly but she incorrectly put our opening balance check in savings-not checking- and since they hold checks for 10 days the money is not usable. This is not a a hardship for us but it could have been if we needed to make a bill payment right away. Secondly their printer was not working and i had to come back to get my new debit card. Not a major issue but a call telling me the status of the printer would have been nice. Also this was the first time i have opened a checking account and not been given temporary checks until the new checks arrive. All in all the service was polite and friendly enough but the inattention to detail gives me pause for concern. . Im hoping once we start using our account here i will be able to return and give a better review. To be honest i know checks are paid within 3 days now ( even if out of state) so i do not understand why they hold it for 10 days. Not very customer friendly.

This place has the worst customer service ever. Super rude clerks, even the manager is rude. I have never in all my years of banking ever been treated so poorly.

If you are looking for a great Credit Union - look no further than TFCU! They have been very helpful getting accounts set up and I've never had problems with their customer service. I am so glad that we use them for our banking needs!
