I have been seeing Michelle for over 13 years at this point. I was elated when she opened up this location. Everyone here is so kind, genuine, and thoughtful. Customer input is so important to them and I have never left disappointed. I also know that if I were disappointed, I would be listened to and they would do whatever they needed to fix what the issue is. I would give 10 stars if I could.

My hair cut/style on July 2 was not quite what I had wanted it to look like. My stylist wasn't skilled in cutting longer hair into a short cut. She was very pleasant and sweet , however, didn't know how to cut hair from long to short. I even asked if she had cut hair to short and she said no. Thought I might be in trouble and I was. I have had my hair styled at Shea Madison before and have been pleased with the result. Unfortunately, this time not so much. Expecting a shorter style I came out with same style only shorter. We had siscussed the style I wanted before cutting and my desire fell on deaf ears. Also I have uneven lengths and scraggly ends in places. When she was finished all I wanted to do was pay and leave, which I did. If you go to the salon pay attention to the stylist and her experience which was sadly lacking.

Horrible. Dont waste your money!
I had a "master stylist", was quoted around $300, but was charged over $500, then got an attitude from her when I didn't tip. My hair doesn't look any better than before she did it. I wanted my roots bleached to match the rest of my hair, which is a "sunshine blond" (gold tones). She pretty much did fine (thin) highlights in platinum, then put a gold toner on it, which has since washed out, so it still looks like I have roots, they just look grey now instead of brown.
To have someone else fix it is going to fry my hair, and cost another $2-300, which I shouldn't have to do, as I was very clear before she started that I wanted the new growth to match the ends!
And judging by her responses to others who have been disappointed, she's going to have some sorry excuse, or try to bash me. Very unprofessional.
Here's a clue "owner/master stylist"....Your end result doesn't warrant the exorbitant price tag YOU think you're worth. Other people do way better for half the price, but I assume you're in over your head with rent on that place....gotta cover it.
And don't even suggest that I should've given you a chance to fix it. No....You should've done it right the first time at $500+! It's haircolor 101.
With so many bad reviews, all having the same basic complaints, maybe the problem is you!

I paid for a friend to get full color and highlights because she had never had her hair professionally done. It was 429 bucks before tip, and her hair is just below her shoulders. I have had my own hair done for years, my hair is much longer and I get full balayage and have never paid anywhere close to that at very nice salons. What a rip off. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Hi ladies, I am new to the area and someone recommended this salon to me. Is it normal to pay $346 (without tax or tip) for a PARTIAL highlight in the Queen Creek area? My hair is neither long nor thick. Pictures and receipt attached. I have lived in Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago and have never paid anything close to this much in what I would consider to be much higher end salons. Wondering if this is what salons are charging in AZ or if this was a bit of a rip off?

Made an appointment a week in advance to see someone specific.yes she's that good. I've been out of town for a year. There were two of us and it was quite a drive. They couldn't put our appointments together. I was bumped back 30 minutes so two hours to wait. I had someone else who was rushed. Didn't help me with color consult and I didn't get my shag. No water no coffee. Thought it was a Spa. Beyond disappointed. My friend looked beautiful.

I am editing my review since my wife cancelled the appointment when contacted as she hadn’t made the appointment. However I did explicitly tell the receptionist I talked to that this was a surprise for my wife. Which typically would mean… she doesn’t know about this.

Update- I’m pleased to report that the owner addressed my hair concerns, and I’m now satisfied with the outcome.
Gratitude is extended for their prompt resolution of the matter.
I requested a haircut with approximately 4 inches off and 'lived-in layers'. When asked to clarify 'lived-in layers', I explained that I envisioned layers that blend seamlessly. However, upon returning home, I noticed that one side of my hair is longer than the other and lacks the requested layers. Despite reaching out via email to rectify the issue, I have yet to receive a response. I paid $80, including tip, for a haircut that did not meet my expectations.

Asked for a long A line cut and got a basic same length cut. Very disappointed. Could have cut it myself. If you don’t know what a A line cut is then you shouldn’t be a stylist. Not worth the money. And not customer service friendly. Very little conversation. Will not recommend
