As always dogs look great. Great staff and Morgan does our pets. We LOVE her and so do they. We have the best service for a great price. They check our dogs for their needs and groom them perfectly!!!! Thank you Petco!

Aimee and Miranda are great, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I rescued some fish from a very neglected fish tank owner and both young ladies were johnny in the spot with their info and direction. Even offering to order parts online. Thank you ladies and keep up the good work

Recently I was working on getting leopard gecko supplies and ordered things online for store pick up from Petco. The staff were nice, and one man helped inform me that my tank was far too big for a tiny hating gecko and I would need to get a few others to not stress the tiny babies out too much. However, they had one leopard gecko left and one or two fat tailed geckos, the one fat tail I saw was fat too big to be housed with the baby gecko. I asked when they were restocking and the lady at the front desk had no idea. It would be cool if the staff could be told when shipments are coming in. Other than that, nice service, and good information.

Lacey did an awesome job grooming Chewbarka. We had tried three other groomers in the area with terrible results so we were really happy to find a groomer who really does an awesome job and the customer service from Lacey and our cashier was great too. We will definitely be back!

Dylan was very pleasant/informative [with our last-ditch effort in locating a companion conure (my Mom already has a conure at her home)] at almost ~closing (between 8P & 9P) on Sat. 9/29/2018. He provided us the opportunity for first contact with a gentle young pineapple green cheek conure by the name Tango. At the accommodating call of a pleasant cashier named Casey, he(Dylan) explained their(Petco's) preference for finding their guests(in our case, Tango) compassionate homo sapien guardians, explained some of Tango's needs, and between him & Casey, decided we were a good match. Without our asking, they informed us of having met the time-frame for a chance advertised savings. Dylan queued us on acclimation-concerns and Tango's preferred snack (roasted unsalted peanuts -in moderation), which proved invaluable.

As a mastiff breeder and exhibitor for over 25 years, I wanted to use a store like Petco to do some "touch up" trained for a young girl we are preparing for the show ring. MISTAKE!! The trainer was pushy, her knowledge was limited and training was cookie-cutter. "All dogs are the same." My girl needed a slip collar which she disallowed. This allowed my 170 pound "pup" to control us instead of the other way around. We felt this endangered our girl. But we believe that PETCO is more concerned with public perception than canine well-being. So, today we pulled our girl from the class to go with an expert trainer. I will say the manager on duty was gracious and understanding. She promptly refunded my money. I conclusion, PETCO demonstrated it is too fearful, as an organization, to shape perception about what is best for animals. It would rather bend to the whims of animal rights activists bent on controlling public animal ownership. They would be advised to support pet owner, exhibitors, and breeders instead.

Employees don't know their own company policies. Came here to buy dog food instead of ordering it on Amazon. First time I asked them if they could price match Petco.com, they said no. However, their price match policy on their site clearly states they will match their own site. I informed the girl working the register and she said "okay" and still charged me the full price. The difference in money is not the issue, but the lack of even trying to find out the policy by asking someone else, or looking it up on her phone (since she had it out in one hand while ringing me up) is unacceptable. Needless to say this store lost a customer.

I drove 45 miles to visit the Prescott Petco to maybe adopt a cat. An older woman asked me if I had other animals and I said no. She then said to me they don't like to adopt cats out to homes that don't have other animals. Its just to sad. Like being locked up in a cage isn't sad enough! Can't believe I wasn't allowed to adopt a cat!!! Very disappointed in this Petco!
