I went to Harbor Freight to buy a few items that I needed around the house. When I went to the check-out line to pay, the clerk asked me for my phone number. I told the clerk that I did not want to give them phone number as I know that I will start receiving text messages and they will probably sell my information to other companies as well. The clerk told me that if I didn't give him my phone number I could not return any of the items for any reason.. The clerk said that it was the store policy. Well guess what I will never, ever, go back to this store again. This borders on extortion, not customer service.

I just went to this location. Walked around for 15 minutes trying to find a hole punch set. I should have been in and out in 5 minutes. Nope. Not one person could be bothered to assist me in finding the product I wanted. I did see many just talking tho and asking the people right next to me if they needed help. Must be nice. If I could give zero stars I happily would.
