Great company ! They took the time to repair a fleet vehicle of ours. Pricing was more than fair, service was superior and they let us know what was going on every step of the way. Couldn’t be any happier with our experience. It’s good to know there are still people in the world with integrity and honesty !!!

Although I haven’t put a lot of miles on my motorhome since they rebuilt the transmission it seems to be super! Price was really good and warranty is good. Really nice to deal with, quoted price was what I paid. Highly recommended

CROOKS! Took my sons truck here for transmission work, we were verbally quoted one price ($450) and we agreed to it. We get a call a week after saying it’s done and that the pride went up to $800 due to extra parts/work needed. BUT we NEVER got a call from the shop telling us parts and extra labor were needed nor did they get authorization from us for it! That is morally and ethically WRONG! Nearly double the price and they think that’s ok to do? DO NOT go here, you’ll probably be ripped off too*Update 11/7/2023 I sent an email asking for an explanation as to why we weren't notified about the extra charges and what we can do to resolve this matter. The shop owner called my husband and left a message saying "You know what this is about, I'm going to start charging storage fees, call me so we can handle this like men". The fact that when they called, we told them we will be in on Friday morning to pick up (as my husband doesn't get off work until after they close) and they said that's not a problem at all. So it sounds like the shop owner is upset that I left an honest review. Which is very concerning.**Another update as of 10:00 am 11/7/2033*Just got off the phone with the owner, where I had asked for an explanation of charges and wanted to know why weren't told about the extra cost. He admitted to telling my husband that it was $450 but in his words "I assumed you were smart enough to realize that wasn't the final price" so no only did he insult our intelligence, but he admitted that he only told us the charge would be $450. He also admitted to not calling my husband to let him know of the extra charges, then he proceeded to threaten us, called me a "whiny wife" and said "I can charge whatever I want and you will just have to pay it" as it pertained to the "storage fees" he's now threatening us with. AFTER he said pickup on Friday would be just fine. He then proceeded to insult us and stated if we couldn't financially handle the extra charges that wasn't his fault (never said we couldn't afford it, we just wanted to know why it was nearly double). He also said that "my husband should've called him and handled it like a man" and when I asked for an explanation, he said "not go home and send his whiny wife after me".....that really gave me a good chuckle. He then said "well if you're too poor/broke to pay it just let me know and I'll rip it all apart and throw it in the back and you can come pick it up".....Good thing I have both calls recorded (that's right, two calls. As he hung up on me the first time and I called back wanting to have a civil conversation and wanted to get to the bottom of it). So in the span of two calls lasting less than 5 minutes, he tried to insult our intelligence, called me whiny wife, a liar, poor, broke, stupid and not "his type of customers, who are actually intelligent". When I had said it's imperative that you make sure you outline all the costs and let the customer know that, that you need to let them know the final price before you do the work, so that there is no confusion, he essentially said no he didn't and that is "our fault for not just knowing". I will continue to update as this unfolds.**update in response to their responseThe charges were not “discussed at length” my husband asked what the TOTAL cost would be including installation and was told $450. We never received a call until after it was finished at which point We were told it was actually $802.26. So it’s a lie when you say it was discussed at length. I have recorded and transcribed calls where the owner admitted to to it and “assumed we were smart enough to know what the final cost would be”. How could we when we asked “so $450 would be the total cost for the job?” (To confirm what he told my husband) and we were told yes. So explain how we are lying? I’ll wait. Again, I have recorded and transcribed calls I’ll be more than happy to include with

I cannot say enough good things about Brian Martin and his crew. I had transmission problems and my brother recommended Martin's. Not knowing anything about transmissions I felt very comfortable with Brian. They ran diagnostics and found out it was electrical. He gave me an estimate that was a lot less than I feared. He ordered the part and it came in the next day and by the end of the day my truck was ready for pick up. Oh, and he's a real gentleman. My thanks, Brian!

TLDR: My parents transmission blew up, after thoroughly researching an affordable shop with a good reputation I decided to go with Martin's. Everything went as promised.1. They rebuilt the transmission it in a timely manner.2. They kept the price very close to their quote.3. They were kind/honest to my elderly folks and left them pleased.Every other shop (in Prescott and Flagstaff) quoted us significantly more money for a rebuild (40% more on average). I am happy to put my seal of approval on Martin's and I'd tow my car from Flagstaff just to have them work on it.Service: Transmission

Took my truck in after speaking with them, was told a quote which they didn’t deviate from at all, was told a time frame and they delivered on time even with bad weather happening that week. Top notch work!! Will definitely recommend and go back for any needs that I might have in the future!!

For 20 years I have been using Brian Martin, the owner of the shop. His daughter Kristen is the receptionist and parts order'r, Chris his son is a great electrician and technician, and Brian is a true master mechanic. The other transmission shops in town bring their transmissions to have Brian rebuild them. The honesty is impressive. Usually, the problem is far less severe than I thought and certainly cheaper than I was anticipating.

These guys know their stuff! I've taken my vehicle here a few times to have the transmission serviced and to replace the pressure plate/flywheel. They are upfront with the price and the time it will take. You leave knowing they did quality work.
