This shop saved me $2,000 on fixing my air conditioner. Dan went in and fixed what Pep Boys did at $422, which was wrong. Pep Boys pumped in Freon which it actually DID NOT need.. Dan pumped out the overfilled Freon and it was cool again. I walked out crying with appreciation with Dan’s expert experience. I will go no where else for my car repairs. A very grateful customer ! 5 stars in my Book !!

Great place that does fast work. We will absolutely take any vehicle back to them!!!
My only tip is to be aware on the days the shop is closed for shopwork, they may still be on premises but will not answer the door or phones.

Fast, courteous, personable, and FIXED, couldn't ask for better. Car troubles on a road trip to Prescott! I sat at Fain Park to make calls to see if I could get a mechanic to take a look. Something I thought was going to be impossible. Dan was booked solid for weeks, but hearing what my situation was he made room to work us in. He had the problem solved and we were back on the road in just a short time. This is the kind of experience I remember from growing up in a small town, hard to find anymore. I want to add he corrected the problem and pointed out another issue I need to resolve. All while staying on schedule with his next customer! So thanks Dan and crew the granddaughter and I made it home safe.

MENTAL AND VERBAL ABUSE 101
I have never ever had problems with Dan's garage before at fastlane performance. Up until the time I had them do my upper control arms on my pickup and they did not Grease them or the ball joints. For months everything was chirping for quite some time and I contacted the manufacturer and they asked me to check things out and send them pictures of what the control arms look like. They confirmed that these have never been greased. Then when I pulled the Caps off to hook up a grease gun they were absolutely clean and took more than a half a tube. Of Grease. I just asked Joey to let the mechanics know they need to grease things. And said she became insistant that I should go ahead and believe what I want to. I told her she is gaslighting me and then she hung up. There is no accountability in this garage and she is a gaslighter. Then I hear Dan cussing in the background. I will not be verbally and mentally abused by my mechanic and their recptionist. Especially when they are obvious wrong. If a man cannot be gently corrected on something and they treat you like this, STAY FAR AWAY FROM FAST LANE PERFORMANCE! This is a place where they are always right and you are always wrong. I prefer an honest mechanic and will continue to look for one. Until I see a change of heart, this review stands. After I did what the manufacturer told me to do, everything is running smooth on my upper control arms. So I guess the proof that I have of my pictures when the truck was just out of their shop compared to what they should look like now, proves again that I must be a liar and so is the manufacturer according to Joey. I don't care how many degrees you have, you are not perfect. It might help if maybe one of their main mechanics was not smoking dope while on the job in the adjacent garage. I did not make a big stink when they over torqued and never reimbursed me on my cam bolts. But this is the straw that broke the camel's back. All new front end suspension, and all they did was install it without lubricating anything. Hopefully it was installed properly ??♂️(You can see that by the clean grease fittings and bushings it was never greased as they insist) Hopefully it did not damage them from running them dry. The terrible Gas lighting you receive from Joey the receptionist is appalling and deceitful. What a terrible place.

Finally found an honest auto repair shop after 22 years in Prescott Valley area. Good work. Good prices. Friendly and efficient. Well I wasn’t pleased when the owner had two other guys change my oil on my Mitsubishi which I emphasized had rust. They knocked my muffler loose and I drove all the way to California breathing exhaust before another mechanic at Jackson Tire fixed it for only $80. The owner is a very good mechanic and will try to rectify problems.

Took my car in for struts when I picked it up it had new never before herd loud clicking passenger side front area. I took it right back and he sounded upset and said well I'm too busy now and made appt for weeks out to see. I came back and he said front rooter and breaks bad that was the cause he said it and it would only take a hour to fix it. I called 2 1/2 hrs later and he sounded very upset and said he ordered wrong breaks but made it work and I could come pick it up. When I came back everyone theres friendly attitude they had before was kind of mean short and upsetting. I got my car and left with sound in front end even louder. I spent over 1000.00 Im Saving the money to take my truck in for someone to look at it and look over his work and make sure it's safe to drive. If there is any wrong mechanic issues with the work he did I will post update.. Never again will trust my vehicle to Dan at Fast Lane. I just left Fast Lane because I called them to let him know I'd be taking it somewhere else and he said that it would void any warranty if I had anybody else look or touch that car to bring it in and he will try and figure out the problem again he was not able to figure out the problem the lady before me he told her that he couldn't fix her lights he tried three switches and for her to get her car out of there he was giving her a refund she asked if he was going to put her Dash back together and he said no you got a refund that's all I'm doing that he doesn't know what he's doing anymore apparently that he's not a good mechanic and he is closing his doors in his shop on the 22nd then told me the same thing that he didn't have what it takes anymore he's not a good mechanic and that he can't figure out the problem and that I just need to take my car and go when I asked about a refund he said no just take your car and go I left I'm done I'm so upset he says he can't count on any good suppliers he's not getting good parts and he can't figure out what's wrong with people's cars and he just doesn't know what he's doing anymore. The whole time screaming and cussing said I should take it somewhere the have good mechanics because he isn't one. My goodness I wish he would have told me all this before he took my money. He says not in it for the money but in same breath says he's just not qualified to work on cars any more. Really Dan just wish you would have told me this in first place and given me chance to take it somewhere they don't claim to be unqualified to work on vehicles ( words from your mouth not mine) Please do close up and get out of the business before you take advantage of any one else. Please stay true to your word and close up!

Being new to the area, I was in need of a good mechanic and was recommended to Fast Lane by a neighbor. I made an appointment over the phone with Joey to bring in my 73 Camaro for carb and suspension problems. Dan personally diagnosed the issues and gave me an estimate for the work that needed to be done, which I thought was fair. An additional appt. was set up to get the necessary parts in and do the work. Dan and his shop guys took care of everything as promised and even replaced a leaking gas line free of charge. I asked him if he worked on imports too and he said absolutely. So a couple days later I brought in my 300zx with starting issues and Dan immediately diagnosed as a failing fuel pump. Brought it back in when the part arrived and the work was done flawlessly and timely. Dan and his shop are knowledgeable, fair, and easy to talk to. Thank you (and Joey too).

Please don't use this shop. I honestly have no idea how they got even one good review. We brought our Yukon in when the lifters failed to get a stage 1 cam installed but they put in stage 2. They had the vehicle for 6 months continuously saying it was one issue after another. We could never get them to call us back and had to physically go up there numerous times. We finally left with the vehicle after they claimed it was good after they replaced both fuel pumps and thermostat and rear main seal. We took it to another shop because it made it home but would not run again once home. Come to find out The head gaskets were blown. Your telling me this is the work you do and couldnt figure that out. Not only that they billed us to replace the coolant tank that had a crack and it was infact never replaced. The other shop had to replace it because guess what still had a crack. They also return the vehicle with no engine covers. Also the coolant hose was up over the engine and had to be taken off and routed back under where it goes. Oh and another, I go to put it in park and the bolts were never put on the transmission shift cable bracket and I got stuck in drive a parking lot and my husband had to come manually put it in park. I would not let them repair a lawnmower.

Well, the owner is very aggressive with words.
Very rough with my vehicle, even his co workers was shaking his head at him.
Screaming at me about my vehicle.
Cussing at me because I have a Cold Air intake on my truck. This man was very unprofessional. The owner was very rude point blank. The man lied to me about my own truck to try and get my business. I don’t trust him opinion. Shouldn’t have to ask people to give your shop good reviews. That must say something..
