“What’s a review without a detailed experience?At first I had a very bad experience with DF. I applied for my car loan online, the vin was clean and my application was approved. I went inside the bank to bring the documents, I talked to Danielle D. over the phone and everything was good/approved. The next day I brought in my documents and mind you that this bank is inside of a Frys grocery store, very close to the self checkout. It was a busy Friday afternoon, and while I was standing at the front desk, Danielle announced infront of everyone that my application was denied bc the car was stolen.. and told me to go to the police. Immediately I was panicked and very embarrassed bc I thought I bought a stolen car ?? Danielle’s voice was loud and condescending, all of the other employees and shoppers standing nearby were staring at me.So I ran out of the store and immediately called the PD. They came out and ran my vin, the car had been stolen 4 years prior but was recovered and cleared. It was a whirlwind. I went back to the bank the next day and they reapproved my loan. It was a nightmare and also so embarrassing.I decided to stay with DF bc the loan rate was excellent and I didn’t want another bank hitting my credit again. One application dropped my credit score almost 50 points. Anyway, since banking with DF for the last year, they have been really great. If I go to the bank, I make sure to avoid that employee. I feel that she was very unprofessional and could’ve handled the matter privately.My bad opinion of them has changed. They have annual membership awards and their loan rates are excellent. Their app is secure and easy to use. The only downfall of this bank is there’s only one branch in my area and I have to go inside of Frys to make a withdrawal or cash deposit. They also aren’t set up with Zelle. I would still recommend this bank to my friends and family.”
“I wanted to give a shout out to Alexus at the Prescott Valley branch. She is the best MSR CU West has. We both worked in a credit union and know what good service is supposed to look like. A couple of weeks ago we came in with a sizable cash deposit. She was quick, accurate, efficient and helpful. She also told us we could move our checking to one with a higher interest rate and did it for us in a couple of minutes. We always look for Alexus when we come in to the PV branch. She is an asset to the credit union. Thanks, Alexus!”
