i am only giving 2 stars because my doctor there is 5 star service in a location that deserve negative stars. Only reason I continue to go is that it is hard to find a doctor that makes you feel comfortable and doesn't treat you like a file or a pay check. This staff though at the Camelback office in Litchfield are an entire group that need to be fired. They do not return calls, they do not return messages, when they do they either lie to you, get an attitude or blame everyone else for the problems. They have called in multiple prescriptions wrong and it takes forever to get corrected. They have refused to call in refills/prescriptions until you call 4 or 5 times and then of course blame everyone else. The staff overbook the doctors so they end up being late unless you get an appointment first thing in the morning. The lab tech shows up when she wants to, never apologizes for being late, has a horrible attitude and bruises the hell out of your arm every time. Billing group started adding extra codes to the bill charging $1 per line causing my insurance to freak out and deny bill. They threatened to send me to collections for $1 and not schedule more appointments until it was paid all the time blaming me and my insurance for not paying the bills. Also, blood work is 100% covered when preventive which i get the same test every 6 months but they add an extra code and it results in me having to pay. Calling them up on it and it's the blame game all over. It's everyone's fault but them.I do telemed appointments to avoiding putting up with them and go to another lab for blood work to avoid the pain and bruising.

Not sure how people working for organizations that send surprise, unagreed to medical bills like this one does are able to sleep at night. What a gross way to make a living.

What a waste of time and money. I tested negative for covid and Krista Hawkins-PA ...no joke was 45 mins late to our appt. i have a horrible sore throat and she didn't even request for a strep test. Immediately resulted to putting me on anti biotics with out confirming what i have. She was cold. Unwelcoming. Ever since my old doc turned into village medical it's been nothing but horrible careless service. Doctors, PA's. All. Will not be back. Not even to see my primary care anymore... after that visit.

Since southwest medical became village medical since then their service has been a greater disappointment. Now they blame errors on each other. If you get double-billed the customer service bafoons tell you to just pay it. That's not happening we intend to raise hell until someone fixes the problem.

Went to the village medical on 83rd and Camelback to pick up documentation only to find out that even though it's stated that you close at seven, receptionist confidentially stated that as well but apparently today was *around 7 given I showed up at 6:50 and the doors were locked and closed. I live in buckeye and had to drive after work for this document just to be turned away before the posted closing time. Bad service and unacceptable that you closed 10-15 before 7 but yet state that's when you close.

I went to the Gilbert Arizona location about 3 weeks ago and saw Dr. Laura Way. She was a phenomenal doctor, I not only enjoyed her but their entire staff and the office location was extremely nice. However, I made an appointment online and filled out all the paperwork online and selected it as a wellness annual visit, I went in completely healthy with no complaints- all I needed was a regular check up and to get my inhaler prescriptions refilled. I received a bill that was way over what it should have been and showing that my insurance didn't cover most of it. After speaking with my insurance I found out they coaded my appointment as a sick visit. I've called into village medical customer service billing department twice now to ask for help. My 1st call was over a week ago in which she took a ton of notes put them in my file and said I would receive a call back within 24 to 72 hours. A week later I have still not received a call so I called in this morning and spoke with a representative that sounded extremely intoxicated, slurring her speech and hiccuped the whole time. All she could tell me was someone will call me back about "my issues" without providing me any sort of a reference number. It's a shame to find such a nice location and a great doctor but to find out they are coding things very unethically. I am hoping my issue can be resolved and I will absolutely remove my review or possibly change it however based on the last 2 weeks I doubt that will happen and will have to take legal action. No medical practice should be unethically coding visits to take advantage of the insurance system nor it's patients. Long story short I would avoid this place at all cost if you have insurance and expect to only pay what insurance doesn't. Also if you are looking for helpful friendly competent customer service this will also not be the place to go.

Unethical billing practices. My appointment was covered 100% by my insurance, but I was later sent a bill for a co-pay. After speaking with my insurance and the medical office I learned that I was later billed for service that wasn't performed.

I have never had any issues with this place up until recently. I do not recommend this medical center. They seem like they don't care about their patients health at all. I have been out of my medication for a week now, and it's psychiatric prescribed. I can't have it refilled without speaking to my psychiatrist. the multiple times I've called this week I have gotten nowhere. They put in urgent messages to the doctor and have tried to contact him directly and the receptionist told me he can't get through to him and he's not sure why he hasn't called me back. It's been days, and for a doctors office to not call me back is ridiculous. This isn't a refill for ibuprofen it's a medication that really messes with my physical and mental health and the doctor knows that. When i was first prescribed my medication i never even saw the psychiatrist, but he's the only one that can refill my prescription. When i called the first day they left a message with a different doctor. And when i called back the next day they told me that doctor could not refill my meds. So why didn't they call me back to tell me that? Instead i was waiting on my prescription at the pharmacy for 5 hours. Then had to call the doctors back just to hear that piece of information. They then sent an urgent message to the right doctor and i gave him 24 hours to call in my refill. And he never did. It just seems very unreliable and incompetent for them to take there job so nonchalantly. I will NOT be going back to this office.

After signing up online for a new appointment, I received a call back from a Veronica who set me up to see Dr. Angela Sturdivant. She came highly recommended. I called Village Medical yesterday to ask about my medical records coming from Chicago - should they be brought with me for appt on April 6th at 1pm, emailed, or faxed? I was told that they had no record of my appointment by either last name or birthday. The person I spoke to didn't even offer to try to get me back on the schedule or another day. I told her that she just lost a new patient. I have since found another doctor and I DO NOT RECOMMEND VILLAGE MEDICAL AT ALL. They never even attempted to get me back on the schedule. Interestingly enough, I read that when this doctor was at a previous firm, the front desk refused a man (he wrote the review) who had an appointment and Dr Sturdivant would not see him because he did not have an appointment. He tried for 45 minutes to explain that he did have an appointment. I let that go and thought that with the great recommendation, I was willing to go to such a good doctor. It starts at the front desk. If you screw up on an appointment, don't expect me to be going to the doctor. And perhaps the firm should employ more competant people. I even had the woman's name who confirmed me.I give Village Medical an F- rating.

I saw Shannon Costello PA,This person needs to be a nurse or medical assistant. She was very nicely practicing ageism. I might as well been invisible. She did not listen, comprehend or even get a crap about my concerns. When I asked for a script for 90 days of meds, she gave me 5 pills. Not a controlled drug...just my daily meds. Her attitude upset me so my blood pressure increased. She kept insisting that I increase my b.p. Meds. So when I did Increase them, I ended up in emergency due to edema and chest pain. She didn't even consider my medical history or my requests to change meds.If you value your life, Stay away from this person. She doesn't know her butt from a hole in the ground.

Doctor Jennifer is nice, front office staff is awful. Particularly the one middle aged staff member with acne scars and black curly hair. She asked me a question and as in started to take a breath to reply I inhaled saliva and had to clear my throat in my arm. She rolls her eyes aggressively, snatched a box’s of masks, and rudely tells me I “need” to put it on. I politely informed her I wasn’t sick I just had saliva go down the wrong tube but before I could even finish my sentence she was being her aggressive self and began talking over me, this time upping the level of rudeness in her tone telling me I “had” to. This was all within the first 60 seconds of me walking in the door. Perhaps if she had been the least bit professional, or even toned in the way she spoke to me, in front of my daughter no less, the entire situation would have been different. But to be spoken to so rudely and so abruptly after simply stepping foot in the office, was so off putting I simply told her I would rather leave. It’s really mind blowing to me that any normal human being would treat or talk to a random stranger in such a way! I hadn’t been to the office in quite some time, and I was really looking forward to meeting with my doctor to be able to address some post-op concerns I have from a recently emergency surgery. I’ll just make an appointment with my surgeon again, even though it’s substantially more expensive. But at least when I walk in the staff are warm and inviting. I’m made to feel comfortable, not be yelled at in front of my child. Such a disappointing experience. I’ll find a different family doctor that actually treats you like family. Definitely not this miserable place.

I haven't been here for a few years. I saw major improvements today. They couldn't have been any nicer, and Dr. Slovak seemed genuinely interested in helping me. He was great. I am very happy today.

If I could give this facility a zero I would. Whoever is in charge of running this facility should be fired because they are doing a terrible job. On three separate occasions I have had to wait over 2 months to get a referral and then I have to call them and threatened to report them before I can get them to fax a referral to my specialist so that I can be seen. I ask for a referral which my doctor put through to the referral Department and I never heard from anybody, so I called The Core Institute to see if they had received any referrals and they said no. So I called back to Summit Medical Group and was told that they had sent it over three times which they had not, so I called Core Institute today and found out they sent it three times on Friday the day that I called and threatened them.
