This place use to be great but since they changed the name it slowly getting worse . Hey if you don't mind waiting 1 week and 1/2 for prescription and you like miserable people working this place is for you. First you call in prescription on the voice recorder then it takes a least 2 days to listen to it and process it that's only the scripted then it goes to the lab. They say it take/ 5 to 7 days. What the hell are all those people working behind the counter in a little step up room there's like 5 people. Called another compounding place they said 1 to 2 days. So I'll never go back there.

If you're lucky you'll get one or two nice employees when you pick up your prescription. Forget that if you have to call about anything. I've never been talked to so rudely. I pay out of pocket so I decided to call around to other compounding pharmacies, found a place that had faster fill times, much much nicer AND turned out to be MUCH cheaper that Aleracare. Don't let these people make you feel like you're in the Seinfeld "No Soup For You" episode. (Seriously, that's how they made me feel!) There are many other places in the valley that can fill your meds, especially if you pay out of pocket! Check out "A Nice Apothecary". Literally the name says it all!

My wife uses estradiol cream to help with microvascular angina (chest pain). She gets *severe* chest pain that feels like a heart attack without it. Multiple cardiologists (including the Mayo clinic) have come to the conclusion that estradiol cream is the only thing that works for her long term. Nitroglycerin somehow makes it worse. Anyway, the cream helps and we get it from AleraCare, where we've been a customer since they were VascoRX. My wife ran out of the cream sooner than expected bercause they only fill the bottles halfway these days, so we called AleraCare for a refill. I said "Normally we would have called this refill in sooner, but we're in a bind, and my wife is going to wind up in the ER unless we can pay to have it shipped overnight." - and the person told me "It's going to be 5 days before we can even work on the refill." Then a pharmacist came on the call, and said the same thing; "Since it's the holidays, and since we have so many other urgent requests, we just can't get to it until later next week." - can you believe it. So, as predicted, my wife is having chest pain, we'll probably wind up going to an ER, and AleraCare couldn't care less.

I filled my canine prescription there for Valley Fever. They were friendly and helpful and quick to fill it. The price was very fair and I was very pleased overall with the experience there.

Absolutely disgusting people who run this place. Made me get blood work done 7 days prior to my appointment instead of believing me that there was no possible way I could have contracted an STI in those 7 days. Then they had the audacity to reschedule my appointment because the nurse who was supposed to give me my injection was on vacation. THEN THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO MAKE ME DO ANOTHER STD TEST BECAUSE THEY CANCELLED MY ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT.The lady on the phone was totally rude and unprofessional.

Done with this place. Rude reception. Pharmacist I spoke with wouldn’t give a straight up answer. Will go elsewhere for my pet meds.

As a member of the medical community, I am appalled by the lack of profesionalism, knowledge, and diligence of Vasco's billing department. In addition to highly unorganized and suspect billing practices, Vasco failed to ensure the secure retention of my patient information in their medical record. Moroever, Vasco's billing staff neglected to bill me for rendered services in a timely manner and in accordance with insurance laws pursuant to prompt patient billing. Thus, I received a billing statement '16 months' after the rendering of my serivce. Further, Vasco alleged submitting a required EOB (Explanation of Benefits) to obtain payment for the rendered service. However, according to my insurance company, they never received any billing information from Vasco. SHAME ON VASCO corporate and their management staff for failing to ensure patients are recipients of securely documented, accurate, expeditious, and quality billing services. I strongly encourage patients to avoid being a victim to the inconvenience and stress of addressing and resolving Vascos' problematic billing actions by considering other speciality pharmaceutical / infusion related service providers!!

Prior to Alera Care buying VASCO Drugs in Phoenix, AZ the costs for Potassium Bromide compounded meds were acceptable. They accepted a pet discount plan (10% Off), and the staff was amazing.Since Alera Care purchased Vasco Drugs, I was first told they could no longer get the Potassium Bromide power to make the compound drug needed to battle canine epilepsy. Then I was told I could purchase a pre-manufactured Potassium bromide tablet that was over 50% of the prior cost. When I questioned the “pre-manufactured” effectiveness since I was told the Potassium Bromide medication had to be made/compounded by a medical professional, they would not confirm it was the same ingredients. Not being a medical professional myself, I questioned whether the drug would work. They would not provide me a solid answer. When you have epilepsy it’s an uphill battle and to finally figure out a “cocktail” of medications that work is lifesaving. Finally, after 3-4 weeks, Alera Care got access to a Potassium Bromide power to make the Potassium Bromide drug. I was thrilled. Unfortunately, they doubled the price. Seriously? The front staff is still great, but the costs have significantly increased and the confidence in their decision making is a concern for me now. I wish VASCO would buy themselves back. Epilepsy is no life game and VASCO knew that. They really cared about their patients even when "they" were a dog. Alera Care seems to care about profits.

I had an issue with proper dosing with the click pen for my cat's transdermal. Without hesitation they offered an alternative means of dispensing and issued a replacement batch. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and compassion for my dilemma. We are in good hands with these guys.
