I rented here for 3 years. The management is sub par. I would not recommend this place. If you pay on time, stay clean and quiet, AND deep clean the apartment when you leave- they will still treat you like disposable trash. I rent at another place now and its amazing compared to this complex. I recommend this corporation learns to value their good and paying tenants. Do not rent here-you will regret it. They do not respect their tenants as humans.

First of all I would like to underline my deep disappointment for their lack of seriousness and professionalism. I was a great tenant for 19 months, I paid upfront for 19 months and I was treated in a vile and shameful way. When I talked to the previous manager I accepted her sincere apologies for what happened to me. My safety and that of my girlfriend have been endangered because of new residents who were drunk when I got back from work. According to the previous manager they were evicted at the end of November due to complaints from numerous residents. Moreover I have not had any refund for the support of the curtains that were broken after their workers broke into my home without giving me 48 hours notice to install new windows. It has been more than a month and I have not received any deposit. They also vilely and miserably tried to steal $173.91 from me when my apartment was in perfect condition as evidenced by witnesses( included one of their worker who visited the apartment with me) and videos on my cell phone which I will show in the appropriate forum if they do not give me back what is rightfully mine. When I rented the house I provided documentary proof of my family's economic situation so they know very well that I do not need this money but I demand respect and I feel that my rights are trampled on by their arrogance. Furthermore, I was ignored and it was only thanks to the intervention of my lawyer, that they deigned to answer. On Friday November 4 and on Monday November 21, I received their emails claiming that they had made a transfer but a few days ago after a conversation with a member of my bank I discovered that this money was never sent to me.I sent them another email but I was ignored.They will answer for all this in an appropriate forum.Do not trust these people and choose another place to live.

Never have I ever received a five day notice! I have been here for almost 5 years and they are going to charge me legal document fee of $45 when I pay my rent on time! This is getting out of hand! I always pay my rent on time. When you go to the office and try to talk to the leasing agents they tell you they have always been doing this only “ the office manager was behind on sending them out “ you got to be kidding me!!!! Why haven’t I received this notice for the past five years? I used to love living here but not anymore!

If you want problems and for management to wrongfully evict you, move right on in. I have been a tenant for 3 years and experienced no problems with the pervious manger Norma Borunda. Norma helped solve issues in the past and now all of a sudden, she's gone. New management appears and goes by the name of Shawna Reed. Shawna is very rude and disrespectful. I went to the leasing office on 4/26 to speak with Shawna about the text massage she sent me on 4/25 and to put a work order in for my leaky faulty sink. Shawna states that she was sensing attitude and refused to put the work order in. Instead of helping me remedy my sink dilemma, she responds with calling the police. I went to the corporate office the next day 4/28 and spoke with Carla at 1:30pm informing her about the incident that occurred on 4/26 with resulting with Shawna calling the police on me. Carla stated John the regional manager would reach out to me by the end of the day, and he never called me. Then on 4/29 I made another attempt by entering the leasing office to get the rent paid for. She stated that she didn't take cash which made no sense because out of the 3 years of living in this residence I have never paid rent in cash. After no resolution from Shawna and her repeated actions of refusal to solve the issue, I get in contact with corporate the same day. I spoke with Carla for the second time to have John the regional manager contact me. An hour and 45 minutes later John finally gives me a call. During the call I expressed all problems I was having with management . John stated my issue would not get resolved until he got back from vacation on Monday. He states he didn't have any contact information to be reached at and he didn't have a calendar to discuss meeting times on Monday. The lack of customer service and professionalism has diminished at the Wexler. Currently I was told I am being evicted for unknown reasons other than non-payment.

I really do love living here at the Wexler! The cutest community that I know they took the time to vet people who move in! Everytirmbi have a problem the staff is quick to help and maintenance is amazing!!!thry definitely take care of their residents.

Such a beautiful place. Its always clean. I enjoy visiting the office. The Manager is always so cool and plesent to talk with. And so is the maintenance team. All are helpful. Its hard to live in a place where the manager does not care. You will not get the that treatment here. If Norma leaves im out of here too.

The Wexler, Norma and her team are amazing and very communicative. Personally I appreciate the extra community based events that are held for residents… food drives, breakfast, food trucks, door decorating contest. During COVID-19 Norma and her team went above and beyond making sure residents had information for resources and services if needed. The maintenance team is great and do their best to get request addressed in a timely manner. It is nice to see any staff member as each of them are friendly, welcoming and helpful.*I took a star away only because of the times when water is shut down. Help with repairs are desperately needed at the moment as we’ve been without hot water for a week now.

So... Areli, Norma, and John are amazing.I was S.A. in my apartment and was unable to stay in my current unit. Areli and Norma handle this delicate situation with care. I had a new apartment within 3 weeks and John made sure it was an easy transition. I plan to stay here for as long as I can.All apartments have their issues don't get me wrong. But human error is natural. The staff makes this place run. I hope corporate values you as much as I do.

I’m am extremely disappointed by the staff and the apartments of this location. First of all, I put a down a $300 deposit only to get $235 back after I vacated the premises and was I charged $65 to repaint an apartment that never needed a reprint in the first place. I would understand if it needed a repaint because I painted the apartment a different color or something, but I didn’t. I took very good care of the place and and thoroughly cleaned the apartment before I left. The apartments were extremely cockroach infested, the AC always smelled moldy, Something was always breaking. There was electrical problems when I first moved in and it took three or four times for them to fix it. It was a horrible experience. I would find at least 3 to 4 dead cockroaches every single day in my room, kitchen, bathroom and living room. I regret honestly not taking pictures and sending it to them. I did complain and they sent an exterminator, but it was was extremely bad. Plus I had a horrible experience with a staff named Karla. She was very ghetto and rude to me. She Did not listen what I was trying to say to her about the $65. I told her it was very unfair for them to charge me to repaint it. She acted like she didn’t care and sounded very robotic like she was told what to say. I haven’t heard back from Norma (office manger) about my complaint. I understand people are busy, but nothing from her. I would not recommend this location only because of their roach problem, moldy apartments, and Norma and Karla. Honestly it’s just $65, but I find it completely unfair that they want to repaint an apartment that never needed painting in the first place under my expense. Very unprofessional. ~Sam

Apartments are overpriced for the quality/area. Dishwasher constantly flooded. The gym equipment was broken. Treadmill had loose belt, bike seat on exercise bike broke off and at one point the elliptical broke as well. They will write you up for a towel hanging out to dry youbalcony but people balcony's are filled to the brim with shit. It's been over 2 months and still have not received my deposit since move out. I have gone into the office physically and called multiple times with either no response to voicemails or false promises to call back. They hardly ever answer the office phone and you always have to wait for them to get back to you. The maintenance staff was wonderful, very kind and would come fix dishwashers etc. Probably the only good thing about this place. Rent elsewhere.

I moved from Gilbert to downtown to be closer to work in Scottsdale, and have lived for a full year. (finished my lease in September of 2020). I figured I would share a few pros and cons from my time here:Pros: I fell in love with the unit I was in, which was a single level white brick 1 Bed/ 1 Bath unit with a gorgeous (and huge) midcentury north facing window. The unit had been renovated, albeit not up to the best of quality. Yet it was fairly affordable and the neighbors nearby were (and are) very kind. Covered parking was not an extra cost, it was simply first come first serve. The landscape was well maintained, too.Cons: Although the immediate community is clean, there is quite a bit of crime around. Personally my car window was broken in, and my neighbor's window was shattered from a burglary. Maintenance staff are kind, yet it took months for any request to be filled. One of my maintenance requests was concerning a jammed window to be repaired - I requested 4 times, and they regularly marked it "complete" without having repaired it. The mailboxes are regularly broken into, and at one point all my mail was diverted to a post office a few miles away for over a month while the management attempted repairs that were in coordination with USPS regulation. The amenities were small and usually lacking or broken (gym equipment and public laundry). At one point, the office staff had my car towed claiming they didn't recognize it and it had sat too long. Conclusion: it's a aesthetically pleasing community, yet I largely discourage anyone from moving in. FYI - The management does often offer financial or "prizes" to individuals who post 5 star reviews. So beware of that as well.

The management here is the worse! I told Norma I wanted to move out and she had to nerve to try to charge me for the full month saying I didn’t give proper notice. They will literally act like they have no idea what’s going on. There’s new people in the front office everyday and the people they hire don’t know how to do anything without Norma. Sonia is extremely unprofessional shes left in charge often but has no access to information that you need without Norma, so useless. This place is a joke.

05/2020UPDATEThey take advantage of people that live here because let’s be honest if we had better credit or if some of us had a legal status to live here, we would not be living in such an un- livable condition. At this point it feels like they are retaliating against me and for speaking publicly about their disgusting services. From the very first week I moved here every single maintenance request I have put in has never been answered. There has never been a note on my door saying that they missed us. They have not fixed a single issue in the entire year of leasing that I have been here. Correction* they fixed my light because I had a direct conversation with the maintenance guy who is a really nice guy.OLDER REVIEW:If I could post zero stars I would. I would beware of the positive reviews as this company offers gift cards and money for them. I wish I would have taken these negative reviews more seriously because it has been a nightmare living here!!! Maria is extremely unprofessional when it comes to the tenants already living here, she doesn’t have a friendly attitude and likes to argue about the problem rather then help find a solution. My packages were not being delivered to my apt because they still had the apartment under someone else’s name in thier system after five months of me living here. They turn the water off without any notice and their not even courteous enough to send an emergency text!! THE LAUNDRY ROOM DOES FLOOD when it rains so please don’t listen to them. Before we moved in we mentioned our concerns to the leasing agent and they assured us everything negative we read on the reviews had been dealt with. THAT WAS A LIE. For your peace of mind please believe the reviews and don’t rent here no matter how desperate your situation is!!! I promise you will find something better.
