The staff was professional and courteous and the work was done within the stated time frame. They did not try to upsell me on my visit as so many other businesses do, and they did not insult my intelligence. They instead, gave me recommendations for future service. It’s this kind of treatment that creates trust and engenders loyalty. I will be back.

Sun Devil turned a scary day into a calm day. I had a tire blow out in the I-17 and my Satefarm roadside assistance had my car towed to Sun Devil. The office staff was amazing they had to have the new tires brought from another location and had my car finished the same day. Thank you for getting me back on the road. I will be back for routine maintenance on my car.

I definitely recommend coming to Sun Devil Auto for car repair services. I especially want to say how informative patient that the Uptown Phoenix Sun Devil Auto was with me “Carlos & John” are over the phone! They were all Amazing at explaining all the details to repair my car & showing me the unfortunate damages & replaced all my parts from Honda! “Michael” the technician worked really hard on my car for over 2-3 days & made sure to preserve my new Alternator-they are Angels on this earth! They made sure that all the bolts, and hardware were replaced. I was back to a safe working car in less than 2-3 days when other shops have taken over 1 week-especially sometimes Car Dealerships! We really do have to continue to support our small business, and the specialized work they do for our community. This truly means a lot to me keeping my Life, and the lives of 2 Beautiful children Safe! They Genuinely "CARE" when working on my Car-it's now in excellent running condition thanks to these "Experienced Men". They have definitely ?? been here for me since 2017-over 8 years! I’ve also been to the Repair Shop in Tempe, AZ-in my hometown-they are Excellent as Well. I have to say that the men in Uptown Phoenix/Tempe are like Doctors & Nurses for a "Car"! As being a former “Clinical Medical Assistant”-to now just a Caregiver I have to say they are Very Kind, Patient, & excellent at explaining all the details to repair my Vehicle! I show up at 11:00 AM on a Friday morning (today) for an AC recharge.
“How long is it gonna be?”
“About an hour or so.”
Cool, I go down the street for lunch. I call two hours later.
“Oh we haven’t looked at it yet. Once we look at it maybe another hour.”
Be honest on wait times! People have stuff to do.
I left and went somewhere else.

The employees of this sun devil auto have been so helpful. I've been in tough situations and they worked with me and beat another quote I had from another shop.

date:aug 9 2024 . 8/10 service these gentlemen are good at what they do one complaint i do have is i gave my keys to them spur of the moment so i didnt get to put away my medication like i normally do it was in the middle cup holder when i got my keys back it was gone I know the person would deny it and not admit it and give me my medicine back so instead of complaining to the store owner I just figured I would leave a review and then my doctor know my medication was stolen This is embarrassing. I talk really good about some Dato because I’ve been to a couple around the valley. This one is still good service but just watch out for your items.

I'm not much of a mechanic and I've never claimed to be I always trust the Judgment of professionals but sometimes that leaves us in an awkward place I have learned that when a mechanic shop does a diagnostic on your car it's usually a multiple Point diagnostic so they can find out what all is wrong with your car not just one thing period Sun Devils staff is very very nice my wife has went in there multiple times and spent several thousand dollars with them but the last time she went in they told her there were several things wrong with the car after they did a diagnostic and when she said she was considering selling it they said no it's a great running car don't sell it Ikea is one of the best running cars there is that that model and make so we paid them $2,700 under the assumption that our car would keep running for a while well the very next week my car died in the middle of the street and when I towed it there they said you need to pass 6 grand for a new engine I can't prove it but I believe that via the diagnostic they should have known the engine was on its last leg and instead of encouraging my wife to fix a bunch of stuff that wouldn't matter in a week they should have just told her you'd rather be better off getting a new engine period I feel like they saw us coming a mile away and I feel like if they would have just told us at the get-go we needed a new engine we could have either saved three grand and gave them six or decided to sell the car on the spot but that choice is gone and so is the car and I will never send my wife there again on top of that whenever I had the junkyard come and pick up my car from Sun Devils parking lot they said the catalytic converter which I know was in there it was now gone LOL all this sucks when you work hard for your money butt live and learn
