Was fairly busy, but grabbed a few things and was out the door with very little waiting.
Went in to get prescriptions and ended up doing some shopping. Wasn't busy at all
Was busy, but able to get what I needed and get out fairly quickly.

Went to the store to buy a cake at 8:40 pm and the bakery was closed. Went up to the customer service desk to ask someone to help me and was told someone will be sent there. Waited for over 15 mins and no one came by. Pathetic service!

Very dangerous to get out of your car. Once inside, somewhat safer. New fencing installed at doorways to deter assault and theft. Still, a few out of line store employees, that are rude, obstinate and could be dangerous too.

[Updated below] I really appreciate how clean this store is. What I really DO NOT appreciate is that, more times than not, the digital coupon items & other "couponed" items offered in the weekly ads are out of stock by the time I do my shopping that week! I've visited other Safeway stores in town & I've not run into that issue. [I have been back several times recently & the advertised coupon items have all been in stock - it is appreciated...Thanks!]

This is my first time using the curbside pick up at Safeway. I gotta be honest. This is the worst curbside service I’ve ever had. Had a morning pick up and we got told that they would be three hours late because one single employee didn’t come in today. Like what company puts everything on one person shoulders? Three hours later we call and they’re barely starting to even pick up orders. It’s six hours later and I’m sitting in the parking lot for the last 30 minutes waiting for this order to come out, even though I called them before I came to verify it was ready. I’m the only car here for!!

Ashley is amazing. I came to the store on a Saturday afternoon and she handled her line like a freaking champ. There were only 2 checkout lines open (NEWSFLASH: self checkout is not the answer for keeping the lines short or moving people through faster). All the lines were backed up and Ashley had a customer who clearly did not understand how to use the digital coupons, the in store coupons, or the app. She called for help, several times, but no one came. She managed to get the customer out of her line, with expert skill, and was calm under the pressure. Ashley deserves a raise and all the accolades I can muster. She is an incredible asset to Safeway and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

We drive a good 20 mins to get to this location because the one closest to us is horrible, but I have to carve out a good half hour to wait for my pickup orders when I have one. 2 of the 3 times I've had pickup orders here it has taken 20 minutes to get my orders because they're always short-staffed.

I went to this store to take advantage of a sale item, in this case New York Steaks for $4.97/lb. First of all, they dedicate a 2' by 3' area for the sale item. This makes no sense, as this is a very busy location and the case is always out if stock. Today 3/8/2024 was no different as I overheard the meat department employee say that he would be slicing the portions in 1/2 hour. I noticed other customers waiting around for the sale item. As a customer how would that make you feel? I went to the store early in hopes of finding the item in stock.. unfortunately this happens every time I go there. Great customer service- I DO NOT THINK SO.
