I had to do a return, I purchase the wrong item. No one at the courtesy desk. Waited for a while, then a young lady came and knocked on the door of the office. Another young lady came out. From the start she seemed upset she had to help me. I spoke to her in a nice way, I just wanted to return my item and go on with my shopping. All I can say about this young women she was rude! I truly hope she will not be working the courtesy desk because she does not belong in that position! I do like to shop at Safeway but at this particular one it's hit or miss with the employees. The store is clean and well stocked. The area is not the BEST. If they could get rid of the HOMELESS folks that have moved in on 83rd Avenue and Camelback it would be a lot better. You could feel a little safer. Try to do your shopping before the sun goes down. The Homeless come out like the Walking Dead.

We shop here often it's neat and organized well! The only thing I think needs more work is the deli area the works behind there aren't that friendly. They also are short often on chicken or other items other safeways have. Like I said the other areas in the store are great but but the deli staff.

I love this safeway store, Mary in the Deli, Linda at self checkout, Jessica at checkout and Daylynne at the service desk always go above and beyond, amazing staff, great store????

Apparently I'm reading a lot of negative reviews about the pharmacy. I guess I'm not alone with my terrible experience last saturday. I had appointment 11:00 for covid vaccinations and the clerk says I have to wait 20 minutes somebody else already ahead of me and she's alone in the store.I left because I can't stand unprofessional careless customer service...Then I received a phone call from the regional office. Now I understand why do I have to wait 20 minutes because their system allowed them to book six people in 30 minutes period.So if there's only one person working in the pharmacy and I was the second and I have to wait 20 minutes how many minutes does the sixth person has tosixth person has to wait? I guess money is everything for safway hiring more people out of the question. Shameful

I paid for an annual subscription to be able to order groceries and have them delivered. I'm constantly having to call the store regarding my orders. I've received strawberries with mold and missing items. Today I was charged for 2 roasted chickens, I received only 1 and it was completely burned and it was the wrong flavor. I purchased the subscription because I'm a working mom with two babies and it's difficult to leave the house much less go shopping with both. This service honestly has not been worth it. I wish the store shoppers would be more aware of what they are picking out

It was nice friendly people for the most part. There was an older blond woman in the morning who was staring at me while I was buying my food which made me feel uncomfortable. Other than her hovering over me like a weirdo I would give it a 5-star review. I want to add the Deli has changed and is way better than before. The older produce guy was super nice along with most of the employees. The only complaint is the older blond woman staring making me feel uncomfortable.

I have been shopping at this store for a few months and had good experiences until recently when I tried to use a Sadeway gift card. I had printed it out but the bar code didn't print, and the gift card number and pin code did print. I dealt with the associate Michael, who was condescending, insincere and rude. He told me it had to have the bar code. I got some tech help and figured out how to load the card to my phone. I went in again and purchased some food, and then the card still wouldn't work. Again, unfortunately, I had to deal with the associate Michael, who gives me a dirty look look when he sees me. He was not able to figure out how to make it work with the bar code, tells me I have to an expiration date and again, he refuses to honor the gift card. The customer service at this store is the worst I've experienced at any Safeway and I will not be returning to this store.

I ordered a cake and the bakers decided to take it upon themselves to decorate the cake how they want and not how I told them. What's the point of the form they have to fill out if their not gonna follow it. Last time I had my bf order a cake and the baker told him it was plain and boring and got him to change it from what I asked for. It's not the bakers place to make an opinion on a customer's cake or change to wat they think is better. Never ordering a cake from safeway again.

Crazy busy, but first of the Month. The lines moved fast. The Cashier’s were killing it. Scanning the items and bagging cart fulls as well…they need a raise! Great place. Great deal. Great Staff all around!

Although the parking is sufficient, the store is quite clean, employees seemed friendly enough, but when it came time to pay, my friend had a hundred-dollar bill they refused to take as they were claiming it was counterfeit (to the best of their knowledge.) Of course we went straightaway to the bank and had no issues as the bank ran it thru their system and it is in fact not counterfeit. I understand there are counterfeit money's everywhere these days, but they did fail to do a light test; had they done so they would have known this was a real $100 bill.

The drive up system here is ridiculous. Safeway should REALLY enforce the drive up spots. People park here and take up the spots. I couldn’t find a drive up spot so I put in I was ready parked on the side and when I decided to get off the person distributing the groceries was so rude, she yelled at me when I tried getting here attention by saying “excuse me” she yelled “WHAT” I still tried being friendly and nice by getting off and just picking my groceries inside. I’ve never a bad experience here until now. It’s both the worker who was rude for no reason and the people who don’t respect “drive up spots” and leave their carts blocking the parking spot.

I find this place absolutely outstanding. I was shopping at frys and it was so dirty and filthy and it was such a blessing to walk into a nice clean organized store with a great friendly staff.. Hats off to the team members keep up the great work safeway!!!

The produce here is always the best! I get the 7 layer bean dip from the produce section and it's always delicious. The store is clean and usually has everything in stock.

The store itself is not bad at all. Generally, everything is clean, neat and in stock and I don't have any issues shopping in store. Unfortunately, I cannot give them 5 stars as their delivery service is not good! If something is not in stock, IF there is a substitution offered, it's rarely even near the item you want (eg., the substitution for a bowl of grapes was a bowl of watermelon which makes no sense other than they're both fruit). So, make sure you check the substitution options before you complete your order. And definitely make sure you have everything you want before placing the order. I clicked place order, forgot the milk and instantly tried to change the order and it said I couldn't make changes or cancel it! We're talking seconds! So, go into the store, make sure EVERYTHING you need is on your order if shopping online and check your substitutions or don't shop with Safeway or accept what you get. LOL
