Came to this location to shop for my wife’s Mother’s Day gift.. chocolate covered strawberries, flowers, a cake and a card.. was having a great experience.. until, a customer wanted some balloons aired up and the worker by floral told her no! She said I’m busy I don’t have time!! It’s busy I can’t I’m doing other things..
Who says that? Who comes first? Your customers and keeping those customers satisfied should be your main priority. If you’re not able to tend to them and be apologetic and find another available associate then you shouldn’t be working with customers. Go sit in back and do the books.. she was very rude.. I get it, Mother’s Day busy busy no excuse. I suggest next time help or get someone else to help.. bad customer service.. I had a good shopping experience but poor customer she just walked off upset ?♂️..

Mary cooked a hundred pieces of flawless delicious Chicken for a funeral at only a few days notice.
Thank you so much for having it ready, on time and hot.
We appreciated you.
Also, the crew on phone and counter duty esp young man named Julian?? who took phone order and was so polite . Nice store!!

Went to this location after the gym and grabbed essentials. There was digital deal on chicken breast and it was from the deli. I arrived a few minutes after the deli closed and they were packing up. Brandon at the meat counter was kind enough to extend service to me and provide me what I needed without me asking. He took the time to help even though he didn’t need to, I wanted to take the time to recognize him for his customer service.
Thank you Safeway and Team for making my visits pleasant.

Update - the price gouging here is abhorrent. The merger with Kroger can never happen or this is just the beginning. I can't wait to see their record earnings. If nobody stepped in that store for a couple of weeks the prices would drop considerably. The state of this country is never going to change unless we the people do something about it, we can be the ones in control if we get off our butts.The convenience of where this is located is pretty much the only reason why I go. Their prices are higher than other grocery stores and customer service is seriously lacking.

Kim the checkout lady is extremely rude. She is condescending and just has a bad attitude. She should not be in a customer service job. She has behaved this way on multiple occasions and it upset me so much today that I had to report her to management. I will avoid her at checkout in the future.

I have shopped at this Safeway for the last 25 years. It's a mile from my house. I'm done shopping here. My grocery bills are way more expensive here than any other grocery store (even AJ's). They are usually out of multiple things on my list (today it was sugar), there is never anyone around to ask for help, and I'm tired of snotty service. Went through the checkout line today. The guy bagging was plunking my produce into the bag. I asked him not to throw my produce and I got "I'm not throwing it". No apology, just an offended employee...typical these days. Got to my car and pulled out the apples that he threw in the bag and yes, they were bruised to the point the skin was broken and the apples were wet. Every time I am at this Safeway, there is some sort of issue. I'm done with crappy customer service and being price gouged for food. I'm joining many neighbors who have already said adios to this store. So long Safeway.

Excellent cashiers. Management tries to keep up. Sometimes a challenge considering staffing.Corporate pricing doesn't always keep up with competition from other corporate businesses such as Fry’s (Kroger), Basha's, Food City, Sprouts and even Smart and Final.Why would you price onions at $.69 EACH, when virtually every other company prices by the pound?
