Incredible! Every dish was well thought out and very well executed. Every single flavor was on point. Very creative and unique cocktails, with all ingredients made in house. The servers were awesome and a joy to interact with. Highly recommend coming here.

Chef Jason and his crew made our wedding such a special and unforgettable experience! We have loved Persepshen for years, even before Jason had the brick & mortar restaurant that is Persepshen we have loved who he is and what he strives for, and we loved having him be a fundamental part of our wedding day. He and his staff hosted our wedding reception, and served us an amazing dinner, dessert, and drinks. We could not have asked for anything better!

I've eaten at this restaurant maybe a dozen times, and every time the menu delights and surprises me. Chef Jason is dogmatic about sourcing nothing but Arizona grown and raised ingredients for his seasonal menu which features dry aged meats and beautiful fresh and fermented vegetables.
I love this place so much that I decided to host my wedding reception at Persepshen. I wasn't even sure if this was something they would offer but when I asked, they were delighted to let us make the space our home for the evening.
Jason, Jessica and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process.
All of our immediate family was sat at the huge central dining table underneath a tree hung from the rafters as a giant chandelier, and our friends sat at the indoor booths and outdoor tables on the patio around an open space we used as a dance floor.
Every dish was a work of art (especially the melt-in-the-mouth prime rib), and our guests were blown away by dinner, drinks and the deserts. The ambiance was perfect for our intimate reception, and the overall experience was simply perfect. We will cherish the memories we made at Persepshen forever, and will be back as often as we can for dinner.

Went with a group of 6 last night, food was pretty horrible. The dates were okay, but the French dip meat literally turned to powder in your mouth after a few bites. I didn’t finish my meal, I took a few bites gave the rest to everyone else and it was so bad one of the guests sent theirs back. Rest of food was equally as bad with the exception being the pizza cookie. One guest who got the burger ended up throwing up after, so yeah. Not a great experience, but hey the staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was average.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Arizona! They are unique in that their entire menu is sourced from local farmers, and most of the food is organic. most every item on the menu is made in house, from the bread to the mixers that they use in the cocktails. This restaurant is truly impressive and a gem! This is a great place to take out of towners. It is also a great spot for a casual meal, or a special celebration.

Tonight was our second time dining at Persepshen and again, it didn’t disappoint. I got the shrimp fria diablo and my partner got the steak and potatoes. At the end, we shared the skillet cookie with vanilla bean gelato. All food was excellent and came out timely. We can’t wait to go back for round three! I’m shocked at some of these negative reviews, as we haven’t experienced rude staff, yucky food, or overly salted dishes.

What an extraordinary place! Intimate, but spacious. Earnest, but relaxed. We sat before the chef and watched the kitchen move plate after plate from the entire menu. The "small plates" can feed four; the entrees can easily be shared. But why not taste everything that sounds good to you? We had the sour cream and chive sunchokes, the pickled/fried okra, the Frenchie, and steak and potatoes. I'm still stuffed 2 hours later! Honest to goodness, just a gem of a place. Put this on your must-try list if you are ever in Phoenix.

This review is from a while ago. I was my birthday and I heard good things about this place. It has taking me this long to put my eperience into words. This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in my life. The wait staff was dismisssive. I tried their most expensive dish, a version of Beef Wellington in Phylo. The Phylo was way overcooked and the beef was of a consitency of stew. I asked to take it back and they reluctantly did. I ordered their beef ravioli, which was one big ravioli and that same awful meat mixture. Prices here are ridiculous for this mess. I will never go back

Excellent, excellent food. This is an unpretentious, reasonably priced (although not inexpensive) restaurant serving dishes that are homemade with fresh, high quality ingredients. The artisan cocktails are original and delicious. The desserts beautifully presented and tasty. But the stars of the show are the entrees, ranging from simple and flavorful pasta to generous and perfectly balanced sandwiches to mussels and meat. Everything will be different than what you've had before, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. I suggest you sit at the bar where you can watch the chef and his cooks at work. Service is attentive too.

My husband and I came in for an anniversary dinner. We were greeted by a kind host, and felt attended to during dinner. Jason even came by to say hi and talk about the food. Everything was great.
If you are looking to eat out, yet want to eat clean, and support local farmers, this is the place to go.

My husband and I love coming to Persepshen! It's a favorite date night spot. The food is delicious, the service is great and we always enjoy coming back. I also have a lot of food sensitivities and never have to worry about any hidden ingredients in the food.

Overall.... kind of disappointing- we had a group of 6 and therefore ordered a variety of dishes, id say it was about 70% good 30% bad- unfortunately the bad really stood out. The menu is always changing but paying $56 for fried chicken and burnt ends- and getting small cubes of meat that tasted like it was dipped in liquid smoke- and according to the chef "the chicken back" when we asked why there was no meat- leaves a bad taste. the lamb was the gamiest we ever had- and once again almost all bone. The service was great, drinks were also great and creative. Maybe just stay away from the expensive dishes- thats were most of our disappointment was.
