We were on Roosevelt Row and looking for some coffee and a baked good. Onyx sweet shop was open and welcomed us in. The space is clean and they offer plenty of sweets and drinks. We got a little bit of everything including cookies, pineapple upside down cake, pound cake and a Dalgona coffee (TikTok trend). The prices are on par with other local bakeries. The standout item we all agreed on was the pineapple upside down cake. It was so good! The pound cake I know is a dense cake but it didn't taste fresh. The cookies were okay. The coffee was soo good! Would definitely stop in and grab one again!

Cute pastry shop, perfect lemon bars - excellent lemon flavor and not too sweet. Delicious apple crumble also, balance of solid apple flavor and again not too sweet

Great place for cookies, cupcakes and more! The owners are very friendly and put care into my order of a 1/2 dozen cupcakes and dozen cookies. Overall good vibes, I will definitely go back!

Amazing baked goods! I had a chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven at 7pm on a Friday and it was heavenly Fantastic service & atmosphere--highly recommend!

On Roosevelt Street, Onyx Sweet Shop wants to serve you cookies, cakes, Italian sodas, etc. So good, your palate will thank you! I tried the Lemon Bar...yummy! The Chocolate Chip cookies will have you coming back for more. The owners are so friendly that you'll spend more than you plan to.

They are seriously the nicest people ever, we had such a great time talking to them, not to mention how good their cookies are! These are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! We will definitely be back!

I stopped at Sage and Stardust, which is just as awesome, for some smudge sticks, my husband wanted to stop and grab some cookies from Onyx. They weren't open yet and we didn't realize it. She saw us trying to get in and opened their doors for us! We got cookies and a Lavender lemonade and she recommended frozen blueberries in it and OMG!!? THE BEST! I WILL be back!!!

Staff was super sweet and personable. When they found out it was my birthday they gave me a free cookie! Would 100% go back. Cookies were so soft !!! Ambiance is welcoming and warm :)

My friends, cousin and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to patronize Black owned businesses while in Phoenix. We were able to speak with the owner and ordered over the phone; everything was prepared and waiting on us once we arrived. The shop had some of the best chocolate chip cookies, pecan and lemon bars I had ever had; you could tell the pastries were made with ❤. If I could have them delivered to my city, I definitely would. ?

Great customer service! Husband and wife were so nice! The baked goods we purchased we delicious! My favorite was the pineapple upside-down cake ? we will definitely be stopping by again!
