“Moon Valley Nursery on Tatum is wonderful. Delivering our new purchases, Arthur and his crew did an outstanding job of planting both the tree and cactus. They left our front yard in spotless condition looking much better than when they started. Arthur was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful - a credit to Moon Valley Nurseries. He answered all our questions and was extremely patient with us. It was amazing all the work that was involved in planting the tree but the crew accomplished it expertly. Arthur did an excellent job explaining what we needed to do to help the tree thrive and assured us we could call any time with questions or concerns. We will certainly be going back to Moon Valley Nursery.”
“I've been a regular customer of SummerWinds for almost 25 years. The staff is always available and eager to help. That said, I have noticed a significant increase in prices this year (which seems to be a trend at other nurseries as well).Update on review from three years ago:The past several times I have been here, the selection is not nearly what it used to be and the prices have now gone through the roof. I found similar plans just down the road at Home Depot for less than half the cost. Many of their plans don't even look healthy, like they once did. Unless something is done at this place, I don't think I will be returning.”

“Professional and friendly, the delivery option is awesome. Jorge even saved me from planting the black bamboo incorrectly by taking the extra time to tell me more about the plants care in my specific location. The plants look great and even have some new shoots already poking from the soil.”
“We were looking for 5 gallon oleander plants and we had already gone to two of the big hardware stores prior to the visit here. The staff was very helpful and perfect in every way. We bought 15 large plants and they were way better quality for a little bit cheaper of a price you're an awesome place to go and very fun. Can't wait for our next visit! Thank you!”
“We love visiting this place for therapeutic reasons. The prices are cheap and the product is top class. The seeds and plants have a 100% survival rate. Everything that I have bought from here has really survived. We will be definitely be coming back for more as we are setting up our oasis in the backyard.”
“Beautiful nursery for the downtown area. Really nice, creative arrangements. I found a couple items at fair prices. Larger cactus were on the expensive side, but I did find some fairly rare finds that warranted the higher price tag. Small indoor plants priced at $15 to $20 that are $5 to $10 in the suburbs or northern nurseries. Everything looked healthy. I asked the nice gentleman about some good finds in the $40 range. I'm used to finding 2 gallon cactus in that range, but no dice. He did point me to some nice agave that I ended up grabbing. Arizona has amazing nurseries. It's great to have this closer to the DT Phoenix area.”
“Really wonderful place to buy tropical trees. I got couple of 7G mango trees and they were so healthy and at an affordable price. The owner is very knowledgeable and easy to speak to and will try to answer all your questions.”
“I’m at Ace several times a week for mundane things like A/C filters all the way to rare finds that match existing hardware or can be used on rare vehicles. Magically, my Ace store has what I need 99 percent of the time, and it’s affordable. The people there are quite helpful and even provide some much needed coaching and reassurance. They live up to their jingle!”
“We stopped by Old West Cactus Farm while on our trip to AZ, and had a great experience. The father-son duo there assisted my mom to pick out cacti to fly home with us, and helped to pack them nicely for transport.They walked us through the greenhouses full of rare and beautiful cacti, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful!Incredible selection.”

“The best experience I could imagine. I received a beautiful fern from Amy's Little Plant Co a few years ago, and when I was looking at florists for my wedding, I checked them out. Not only were they able to put together my flowers (that then traveled 5 hours), but they were also about to do them last minute.
And let me tell you, my bouquets were so stunning. I now have mine dried in a vase.
One of the things I really love is that not only do they do floral arrangements, but they also have a greenhouse of living plants. Everyone was very friendly. Nicole was who I worked with directly, and she really worked with me to create the bouquet I had in mind that would also travel and hold up well as we had a remote wedding.
I would highly recommend them.”
“My fountain was having issues and I called hoping for a referral. Instead, Justin called me back (TWICE!) and we problem solved the issue over the phone. It was an easy fix on my end, but not intuitive. Another company quoted $650 to fix my issue. Justin suggested a little silicone would do the trick. I had a tube. $0 later, the fountain was fixed. In all my years managing a house, this is the first time that a company called me back and then back again when I hadn't responded within a few days. That is true customer service. They will have my business in the future, for certain.”

“Fantastic company. I went in thinking I need to rebuild six valves. I explained my situation and the guys at the counter informed me it wasn’t the valves, it was my controller. They rebuilt in a day at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend coming here.”
“I used Sprinkler World to get some irritrol valves which you usually don't get at home depot or lowes. I must say, loved the experience at the store in phoenix. I could call them up on the phone first, and get the prices right away . Not only were they cheaper than the online suppliers but also the quick service and great customer experience I had, I would definitely be going there in case I needed supplies to fix my sprinklers. I got to know more about how the valve worked in 5 minutes from the team at sprinkler world than i got to know from hours of pouring through videos on the internet.”
“Great products!! We have ordered a Meyer lemon tree and a peach tree from the Urban Farm. Along with the trees, they provide excellent education. I attended one of their Zoom seminars and I learned a lot about fertilizing, pruning, and tree care. Their website is amazing with so my opportunities to learn about trees, gardening, composting, etc.”

“I've used their awesome mulch products for years because they happen to be neighbors with the best nursery in the valley and I'm in the neighborhood a lot. I already knew they were the best place in the Phoenix valley for soil and mulch. But I'm writing this review today because I recently purchased an application of their mobile worm casting tea spray and I think everyone deserves to know how incredibly well it works. Within a week of the application, the leaves on all my plants and trees looked INFINITELY, almost indescribably healthier and happier, with a GLOSSY lushness I wasn't even sure was possible, given some of the external challenges my garden faces.I think everybody in the valley should support this business. If you don't have a green thumb yet, getting help from Arizona Worm Farm WILL put you well on your way towards epic success. You can grow practically anything here with good soil and shade, and soon you may need to. TRUST THE WORM FARM PEOPLE. JUST DO IT.”
