Please do not work with this bank. They give you a personal banker who is incompetent and would not do any thing for you. Their customer assistance centers never answer their phone calls.

Rating should be ZERO! Crooks! Beware- they charge fees for everything, even if you've met the account minimum. They erroneously charged me a fee and were happy to credit me back as a one time exception after almost an hour on the phone. They outsource customer service to Utah FYI- go figure. So much for a local bank relationship! So after a few weeks I'm thinking I'm ok with my balance at the minimum to not be charged more fees. Guess what? The fee that was credited back didn't hit my account fast enough so even though my balance was equal to the minimum I didn't have a daily average balance of the minimum. None of this would have happened if I was using the account but I'm in the middle of transitioning this business account to this bank. Not now- I'm running away fast before they rip me off more.

Helpful and knowledgeable with good rates...only problem is no one working there wears masks. Wearing masks would protect their customers.

For all of my business needs I use National Bank of Arizona. Chris Morris is truly the best at what he does. He has helped me in so many ways. Thank you for all that you do and its not just a bank when you are there it is like your home!

Nancy Kinnard is a true super hero. I am so happy to have this bank, Nancy, who is my personal banker & her trusty support person, Jolene in my corner. On Tuesday, when all this crazy funding activity for Covid-19 was swirling around they demonstrated the value of brand loyalty. What's of note here is that competitor banks were closing their doors to applicants, yet my little relationship with NBAZ mattered. Thankfully I had emailed my wishes for the PPP Loan application earlier to her. Had a brief conversation with Nancy's voicemail in the afternoon. At 10:30 that night she called to follow-up, as she had not seen my application come through yet. (It had been completed, as my CPA and I submitted it earlier in the day) I happen to have known her day started well before 6:00 serving customers, as another told me she served them. WOW I'm impressed over her dedication to making my expectations happen. Year after year this team has had my back. Thank you! It's unprecedented...what we are going through, yet refreshing to know the value of relationship banking is still here to help.

Horrible experience. Tried to get a loan to purchase a property through NBAZ. We have great credit, were purchasing from family, putting 30% down, and NBAZ held the first lien on the property already. No brainer, right? Wrong. They jerked us around for 2 months before informing us 2 days before closing that our property didn't fit their criteria for lending. Are you KIDDING me? I ended up contacting executive customer service, which only served to get the appraisal fee refunded (after all, why would they charge us if they never intended to lend on the property). Even then I received mixed messages (one person saying, "that's the best we can do" and another person actually fixing the paperwork issue). Ended up switching to a loan officer we've used at another company for several loans and she had us ready to close in 9 days. It's just crazy to me how hard "big banks" are to work with. I will never bank with NBAZ again.
