Don't have an account here. And for good reason. Their system doesn't work half the time. I've currently been waiting for hours for a check. They can't even cash a simple check. They claim it's commercial services who has to keep calling the owner of the check to reverify after verifying several times already. I'd go somewhere else

I go to multiple Midfirst locations and service is always great. When I enter the branch at 7th st and Bell I feel like I am coming to see family! The customer service is off the charts every knows me by name.

I would look for a banking with the cartel of Mexico before coming here. Mid First is not a professional bank that I would recommend anyone.

One of the main reasons I switched to MF after almost 20 years at another well known (bigger) bank, was the "Live Free" checking, no fee's, no minumum balance, nothing....At least that's what I was told. Here are a few things wrong with MidFirst Bank that I have yet to find a resolution for.-Issues processing paper checks quickly and easily (I have ZERO issues depositing and cashing checks worth THOUSANDS of dollars at my other bank-Overdraft fee's. I was told by a banker who helped me setup my account that this indeed would NOT happen. It did. Several times. (live free checking, no fee's and all that? fake).-Unacceptable mobile app experience. Aside from my available balances always being WAY behind what they actually are (this has burned me more than once), the mobile app has casued me to need to call support SEVERAL times just to see how much money I had in each account (recently I was far from my home late at night and all I needed was to view my balance to get gas so I could get home, and I could not. The MF rep on the phone admitted to the app having many issues.-I have had a lot of issues with vendors even taking my card. It literally just gets declined at certain places, and I have to use a different bank debit card.-I had several MF bank employees tell me over the phone (including my local branch manager, Ray) that I should probably go to a different bank, based on my specific banking needs.I don't need A+ perfect customer service, and I don't need sprawling lobbies with marble floors and fireplaces.I just need a bank that works for me, my business, and ultimately, my family.If you are in the Phoenix area, and are a freelance/contract worker, I HIGHLY recommend Desert Financial. They never have any problems depositing or cashing all my checks, the available balances update immediately, and I have never had to call someone on the phone to get the app to work.

There is a new employee at Midfirst who was working the drivethru the past few times I've visited. The first interaction I had with her, she was rude and curt. Today, when I went inside for a large transaction and she was working the drive thru with no customers to attend to, yet she ignored me and did not offer to help. One teller was working with a customer, and a manager was on staff, but I was not addressed by anyone. Too bad. It is used to be a great bank!

MidFirst in my honest opinion is WAY BETTER than traditional banks in several ways. Bathrooms for customers, Saturday hours, free coin counting machines, excellent customer service, free bottled water, and branches that look like a ski lodge are just a few reasons I like them. Too bad they are privately held- I'd LOVE to buy stock in the company!

So disappointed in this place. I definitely should of read the reviews before going here. Don't give this place your money. They will make you wait forever after your scheduled appointment time or try to cancel 30 minutes before hand. Terrible management.

I love this bank, they always greet me like I've known them forever. They always stay open till the very last minute of their hours. They are always friendly efficient intelligent quick and willing to do 10 different transactions and not even blink. This is a great branch, they treat everybody like they're the most important client. It's really the way local banking should be.It may be a small local bank but it's top notch service and real people going out of their way to make sure that your money is where you need it, how you need it, when you need it.Thank you to all of the associates and banking specialists and managers at this Anthem branch office.
