Love this shop!!!! I received a gorgeous ring from this store as a gift but it didn't fit - when I took it back to the store I thought I might just get store credit (which is fine because there are SO MANY beautiful products to pick from) but to my surprise they were SO ACCOMMODATING and went out of their way to coordinate with the vendor in order to get a special size made. They made the experience so easy and now I have a ring that fits perfectly!
The owner is so incredibly cool and I love that this business stands on their values! All of their products are sourced from small makers, artists and independent designers. Love love LOVE Local Nomad. Forever fan. Can't wait to go back.

Cannot believe I hadn’t ever been in this place before. It’s a hidden gem! Amazing and PERFECTLY curated assortment of local and/or indie goods, including a great selection of bath and body products, clothes, and kids items. Laura (or Lauren? someone very kind, with an L name) helped me find a great hostess gift — they were incredibly friendly and had great suggestions!

The dreamiest space & locally owned shop in Phoenix! Quality, small batch goods thoughtfully curated by Lauren and her team! Always changing and always something new to see. I can always find a sweet gift for a friend or myself!!! Honestly impossible not to buy one of everything! Start with an AJs iced tea or coffee and head to the shop to wander through. They always have fun community events and partnerships happening. So proud of Lauren and all she’s done within the small biz community in Phx! This is a must stop!

Local Nomad is a must visit for anyone in Phoenix that appreciates beautiful, sustainable goods presented in a relaxing and aesthetically curated environment! I always find something I want to take home, whether it’s a book for myself or a card to put in the mail. And the team is lovely!

This is my go to place for all things local and hand crafted. I get scents, skincare, dishes, clothing, literally everything. And it’s all clean, sustainable, and ethically sourced. It is a crunchy girl dream. So great for gifts and has an amazing children’s section that I’ve been using for all my mama-to-be’s! They are also just lovely humans in there - kind and patient and warm. Couldn’t recommend it more

This shop is absolutely darling. They have a great mix of locally sourced, small business , and artisan goods. From house items to clothes I’ve found so many great pieces there. They have incredible southwestern and modern art selection too. Every time I stop by it’s impossible for me not to buy something. I like that the staff is available but keeps to themselves so you can actually look at everything without feeling like you’re being watched or pressured to buy something. This would be a great place to buy a birthday present or housewarming gift.

I recently visited Local Nomad for the first time while in search of Christmas cards. Not only did I find all the cards I was looking for but was able to check a bunch of gifts off my list.Such a beautiful little store filled with lots of unique treasures.The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they lovingly wrapped my gifts with twine and tissue they had to offer.Everyone there was so sweet and I’m so glad to have stumbled upon this magical little shop.Thank you again, I’ll absolutely be back :)

Well. I’m so sad I’m even making this. Traveling to Phoenix, I found this place months in advance. I followed them on instagram and have been so excited to come in shop. They state they carry plus size clothing on their instagram and site, but they don’t. I didn’t see one size above an XL on the racks. It’s small, clothing was beautiful thou.The service was so astoundingly bad. I took an Uber here and was treated better. One sweet girl said “hello” when I walked in and then she disappeared. The two women at the counter just chatted and didn’t even ask me if I needed a size or anything. I mean at a place like this, I expected to be greeted and asked like some follow up questions, like “how can I help you?” “are you looking for anything specific” I would have loved to be interacted with. I was so excited and it was a major let down. Maybe my looks or attire was too not their vibe. I was wearing biker shorts and a Johnny Cash T Shirt. I’m not sure, what their deal was but so underwhelming. Now the products. Clothes are expensive but gorgeous! Like stunning. And that’s why they are getting two stars from me. I saw a lot of the same things at the farmers market this morning. The trays were beautiful but very mid.Edit: As I have traversed Phoenix shopping the last couple days, I’ve heard only wonderful things about the owner and the work she has done to empower small businesses in her area. I wish my experience was different. I really do. I contemplated taking this down. I wish it wasn’t my experience.
