I am giving 2 stars to the nurse who was asked to handle reapplying my post operative foot bandages tonight. In order to follow doctors orders in keeping wound dry until stitches are removed I have replaced my bandages 4 times in 9 days and just wanted a professional job in hopes I could maintain these bandages 6 more days. I expected that they'd provide the level of quality per my original post-operative cushion support and ankle wrap. What I received was not even up to the quality I have been managing the last 9 days. It was apparent the nurse didn't consider any pressure which may apply to base of foot, within the very first steps I made back to my vehicle I started feeling aching/throbbing at sutured area. So once I arrived hone I removed all bandages and found only 1 plastic piece was applied to cover the stitched area before the gauze and cloth ankle tape. There was absolutely no reason for me to go in there if they weren't going to treat my post surgical wound in the same manner as day 1.

Thank you Nurse Becky and Brendan on the 6th floor today. Your kindness really helped my mom get through the long days.I didn't get to say how much I appreciated both of you. I truly don't know how you do it!

Only giving 3 stars because of the emergency room staff. They were quick and efficient. Testing was good they were fast and helpful. Everything else was terrible. The floor nurse did not answer questions and avoided me.

I have a pretty bad skin infection on my ankle which causes me severe pain when I try to walk. I was at a 9 when I went in. They only gave me an ice pack of which I had to ask for. They didn't even give me so much as a Tylenol. Instead of a blood test, they performed x rays even after I told them I didn't injure my foot. They let me sit there in extreme pain my entire visit then sent me on my way. I'll never go back to this ER

I had to take a rest here for 5 days. This is the best hospital I have ever been treated at. When I first arrived I was in one of the older rooms and had to share. This was not as comfortable as when they transferred me to a new room which was actually more like a Marriott. End result is they were able to detect an early lung cancer which would not have been found any other way. So though the results were nothing to celebrate I would say my entire stay at John C Lincoln was positive.

The staffs are so nice! I don't get nervous to go visit my bf! Not like the Paradise Valley Hospital on 40th St & Bell rd Even the Security guards were Horrible at the Paradise Valley Hospital! Maybe that's why John C Lincoln Hospital Staffs seems even more Nicer... They are very kind! Everybody's so friendly! The Paradise Valley hospital Needs to take a Lesson from the John C Lincoln Hospital!

One of the worst experiences of my life.. went in with my nephew with a small head injury. Only 5 people on the waiting room area.. front and back.. but it still took them 2.5 hours to get us seen.. they shuffled us from waiting room to waiting room while my nephew's head is bleeding.. I had thought I was going to a honor health hospital Because in the past I've had great experiences at the location in acoScottsd. However that is NOT the case with this hospital.. please avoid at all costs.. I'm not sure if I walked in dying that they would take care of my before I died on their floor..

I had an overnight stay here this past Monday for a planned surgery. Prior to surgery, we were able to "check in" to my room onto the third floor which made waiting for surgery so much more tolerable. I had a chance to unpack a little bit, get comfortable and it was so much more pleasant than a waiting room. All of the staff I encountered were wonderful. A special shout-out to Joane, my night nurse, who was a friendly face in the middle of the night when I needed meds or to pee. Joane was fantastic. My room was also beautiful and comfortable. My partner was allowed to stay overnight with me and was wonderful support that I very much needed. Of course, it's a hospital and things aren't perfect. I had to make multiple phone calls to the kitchen to order breakfast. There was a significant delay in one of my meds being brought up from the pharmacy. We had to ask a couple of times to get things. Overall though, this is peanuts compared to the level of care and compassion I received. Being in the hospital can be scary and these folks do their very best to make it as not scary as possible. I felt very much cared for during my stay and received a lovely follow up phone call today. I've been to multiple HonorHealth facilities and even with service hiccups, they really seem to be putting a premium on patient experience and care. I'm glad. We need compassion and care the most when not feeling well.

We have had multiple stays there in the past year unfortunately... At one point we had two family members on two different floors. We have had such an amazing experience there. The doctors the nurses the nurse practitioners are all overwhelmingly accommodating and do such quality care. They were so concerned for my father's well-being and my grandmother's well-being each time they have been there. I am so grateful that this hospital is close to my family and has been able to care for them when their medical conditions became out of control. They have literally saved the life of my father this past July and multiple times since as they figured out what has been causing the issues that repeated themselves. They even walked me out and walked my mother out when she was alone late after dark when we asked. Nothing but positives to say about this place.

I have a few reviews on Yelp but never did I imagine I would want to write a review about a hospital. However, after my son was brutally attacked and robbed, we found ourselves in not one but two hospitals that night. At first he was taken to an Abrazo Hospital as it was nearby where the incident happened. It was not a bad experience but not a great one either. I asked he be transferred to a higher level of care as we were ruling out a possible brain injury and Abrazo could not accommodate his needs. Quickly, we were in an ambulance and pulling up to the trauma bay at JCLNM. From the moment he was stretchered in, he was met with a comprehensive trauma team. They poked, prodded, and turned my son in every direction to ensure a thorough examination. The Social Worker stood next to me the entire time making sure I was okay and getting me anything I could have asked for. The entire team in the trauma bay was calm, collected with a wonderful dynamic flow. Once out of trauma, the doctors and nurses were thorough, calm and patient. They answered all of my questions without any rush or impatience. We had a group of 5 and they were all very thoughtful of us all. My son was treated kindly and respectfully the entire time by friendly, compassionate, competent staff from trauma to the floor, to Pre and Post Op and in to the unit. I am a registered nurse myself and know how hectic a night can be. Not once did they seem busy or rushed. We could not have asked for a better experience. The took excellent care of my son. Thank you!!

The ICU doctors, especially Dr Patel, treated us like a statistic. Also, Ken, the ICU nurse is just there to punch the clock. Although there were some shining stars, like Beth and Darcy, these couple of people made my father's last days full of frustration and unnecessary angst. To have the doctors not treat a person like a human and relegate them to hospice by saying 'he's done' is not a place I would ever recommend loved ones to go. Mayo Clinic is a much better recommendation, in my mind.

I have been a patient at this hospital several times. Each time the nursing staff is less stellar. This time I wished I had not been here at all. The staff was so "busy" that after forty minutes and three times ringing the call bell that someone finally came to the room. And that was only after my visitors told them I had gotten to the bathroom by myself. This was on the special third floor where everyone used to be superb. Sad part is that a lot of the formerly superb staff is still there. Maybe their jobs shouldn't be? Then I was transferred to a rehab facility with no discharge instructions or any kind of interaction to know what to expect. I certainly hope that I don't have to have another major surgery here and be on the third floor.

If you need medical care, DO NOT go anywhere associated with this company. I'm extremely upset with this terrible establishment. Not just this location either, the entire company is unorganized, confused, and no one is on the same page. I needed some MRIs done and was wanting to pay cash because I didn't have insurance. So, I called around to get pricing. Well, Melissa Horne (who works with pre-registering cash patients) gave me the wrong estimate twice. First she says the MRIs will cost about $500 with the cash pay discount. So I call again after she got me scheduled and then it was up to $1022 for the procedure. I blatantly asked her, "ok, so I won't be charged anything more than that for the procedure?" And she stated, "no, as long as you don't need another test that should be the final cost". So I go and get the procedure done. Well, Phil Kinsleywho works at the 3rd st location then informs me that it will be an additional $300 (according to the price sheet he has) for the radiologist to read the report. This would have been good to know prior to my registration. He was also confused about the estimate she gave me. We tried to call her but of course, she was "out of town" that week. Oh, but that's not all.... I get the procedure and a couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail from the radiologist for another $1048!!!! Honor health says they aren't associated with the radiologists who do the reading so they are unaware of the bill. In summary, this company has no clue what is going on when it comes to the financial side. If you're paying cash, I'd advise you to go elsewhere because their "estimate" is going to be very far off. They con you into getting their services because they lie that it's at a "low" price, wait for you to get the procedure done, and then tack on a bunch of extra money to your bill that they don't tell you about. I will never go there again.

I'm happy to be employed by this hospital and really glad for all the friendships I have formed so far !!
