I can't even give any stars! On my last visit, one hour ago, there was no one to help you find anything in the store, brought the item (different color) to the check out and waited 20 people deep only to find out you need the skew number of the item for it to be looked up! Proceeded to tell the gray short haired woman how there is no one to help in this store. She told me not to yell at her and she was going on break! I stated a fact, not yell. She walked away and I pushed my what would have been a purchase over the counter. Will not return to that store, there are better Quilt shops that are more than willing to help! This is not my first complaint about this store but it will be my last because I will not return. For an employee to just walk away was just rude! Get a manager if you can't take true criticism about the store!

Believe the reviews. This place is downright filthy, I don't think this place has EVER been cleaned, honestly. It's unbelievable.

Dirty, low stock of everything, disorganized with product on the floor and 15 people in line with one cashier. Very disappointing.

I have never seen a store in such poor condition. Products thrown all over, everything out of place. The floors are filthy. Shelves are all half empty. I felt like I was in a apocalypse movie looking at an abandoned store.

There was absolutely not one soul in this place for help. I needed to find a needle felting project. Couldn't find it. The store was an absolute mess. Shelves were bare, and Halloweens stuff was only 70% off at the end of December! It should be 90% by now.

Chaotic is the only word I can think of to describe it. The whole store looked like it was being remodeled with new stock still in boxes. Wall displays are totally new (they look pretty good) but the remaining Christmas items look trashy. Won't be back for a while. It was hard to find anything.

I went to this JoAnn’s today to return two spools of tulle. They have eliminated the customer service desk and there was no sign of where to go for returns or exchanges. There was a sign for on-line pick up, but no desk or any guidance on how to return something. There was one cashier and a line of people trying to check out and a person came to pick up their on-line order. The clerk helped the on-line person before those of us standing in line. I inquired of the one cashier where customer service was moved to. She said there isn’t a designated customer service, just get in line with those checking out -about 6 people. I had to wait to return things, as I didn’t want them to think I hadn’t paid-I had my receipt from just a few days before. I wanted to get some fabric, so after the return I found what I wanted and went to wait to have it cut. One person working there also. 3 people ahead of me and one couldn’t decide what she wanted. The clerk unfolded a few yards off one bolt and the customer looked it over and said no. Then unrolled another bolt and she wanted several yards. I finally got my two yards cut and went to checkout. I was number 7 this time.The store was out of many things and lots of racks of fabric and other merchandise sitting in the aisles. It would be sad if this store closed, but there are other options. This is happening not just at JoAnn’s but all over. No customer service, 1 or 2 cashiers, no one in charge who knows how to do things. Not new for this store from the comments, sometimes from years ago on here.

The store seems unable to help customers with fabric or specific requests. I wanted a piece of foam cut and the only option was in one yard increments. This doesn't seem to have a logical basis. I understand there is probably a policy, but for a large retail box store the customer experience is the main reason to show up in person.

I’m giving them 5 stars because of all the different options and quality they have. They definitely charge a good amount for their material but I get it, when you specialize on certain materials it can be difficult. Overall great selection…

While shopping last night at Joann’s, I kept picking florals but nowhere could I find the prices, I went to the counter and asked for assistance, Hilda (begrudgingly) sighed and said she would call some to see if anyone was available….mind you, there was not a single customer at checkout or anywhere that I could see! Finally Stephanie (the manager) shows up, I ask for the price of an item and her response was well those are in the wrong place and I don’t know, she said take it to check out and the could look it up!!! Really?? I have to go back and forth with ever item (I had 5 w/out prices) at the moment!! I turned and said ok, but I have another question down a few isles, IProceeded that direction, turned around and all three people had quietly VANISHED. I looked around said hello, ma’am, hello anyone….nothing, everyone gone. I went back to the front desk, told Hilda that the person she sent just disappeared… she shrugged her should and said “I don’t know what to tell ya” and moved on with her business!!! I proceeded to dig my purse out from my huge pile and said this is ridiculous, I’m leaving….Hilda could care less, she didn’t offer to assist, say goodbye, apologize….NOTHING, just watched as I left a full cart and walked out. WOW….Hello Hobby Lobby

Terrible customer service. The phone and counter help is some of the worst in the business. Rude, snide, condescending. If the people who work at Joann are that unhappy, they need to find another place to work at. Take your business ELSEWHERE.

I came here two days ago to pick some stuff up for a sewing class. There were only 3 people working so no help and don’t ask because you will get snapped at. I feel for the workers being so short but please don’t take it out on your customers.At checkout I was informed that if I provided them with my phone number I could make a return/exchange without a receipt. This is not true. I’m attempting to exchange something today and was told the only what they can take a return is with a receipt or accepting the lowest price of the item in the last 90 days.There is absolutely NO reason why they should lie just to get your phone number. This makes me feel very taken advantage of, my phone number was basically stolen for marketing purposes. Very disappointed in this deception.
