Didn’t realize I had to look up the hours the butcher actually works, before coming into this establishment for service.
Posted Hours on all major platforms were for 0900 until 1800 today, 10/26/24.
Showed up around 1500 give or take 5 mins, and was informed I couldn’t be serviced due to the butchers hours being done for the day. Had no idea I had to show up more than 3 hrs before close to partake in the serviceable hours.
Beware honest patrons of the Phx area, who also have busy lives. Don’t trust the “business hours” for this establishment if you’d like to use the butchers’ services.

I'm not sure if anyone has had to throw away the meat from this place but I bought 2 different boxes from them and had to throw away every single one of the packages when thawed out it smelled really bad cost was over 200 definitely will not be going back to buy from them again

This place came highly recomended by a local friend. I felt transported into a dream candy store just for me. I could spend all day here. I grabbed a variety of cuts for a BBQ with the fam’, super delicious ribeye, Filet, sausage, awesome all around. The selection is deep here, caught some wagyu and aged cuts from the corner of my eye, alongside some exotics as well.
Will be back!

Great butcher shop and deli!!
Friday and Saturday you can get a cheeseburger meal with a side and a drink for eight dollars and it is seriously such a high quality tasty burger with hot fresh fries. The special is from 11 to 4 Friday and Saturday.

This place is our go to sandwich shop. They are extremely kind and load the sandwiches up. A fantastic brisket sandwich with a side and drink is 13$ that's a crazy good deal. I like the dreamy draw especially. I got a new job and we are celebrating with steaks bought from there. They gave us incredibly cuts. Please come support them. I know I will continue too.

Hobe Meats is an excellent source of high-quality chops! The staff is knowledgeable and polite, and they consistently provide excellent recommendations. Their assortment of meats is outstanding, fresh, and affordable. Whether you're grilling or cooking at home, this establishment gives flavor. Highly recommended for all meat lovers!

We love the food, Angela, the gal that made our sandwiches may need some help though, she did a great job, but she could of used a co worker to help out during lunch hour. Our food was amazing and the taste of sandwich is beautiful. My husband is also is giving you all 5 stars; his first time here. Thank you for feeding us, we love ya.

By far the best butcher shop in phoenix. Their fresh sirloin, brisket and skirt burger are to die for and seriously ranks #1 even better than the Henry which I go to often.
They have outside skirt steaks too which is my favorite and cuts even AJ’s doesn’t carry. Their dry aged is fantastic and even their deli sandwiches are kick ass.
Thank god coming from the Midwest as meat is king these guys are beyond top notch. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can’t say enough of how nice it is to go to this shop! I get my Boars Head meat,(less expensive than Fry’s) perfect sandwich sliced. I just found out today that they will season any meats for cooking! Can’t wait to try double thick pork chop on grill. Their steaks are tremendous! Thank you !! ?

This review is 3 years old and I have not had a chance to go back. The owner was responsive to my negative post and to be fair I used to be a drunk...I am changing this to a neutral review and will try this shop again.

Just WOW! Today we visited this butcher store with the intention to find some exotic meats. I don't want to name meats, but trust me, some meats are exotic. In addition to expensive and exceptional meats you can find here and meats that you buy @ regular food market. This place has high quality any meat you want. Definitely we'll come for more.
