I am writing this review to make this store manager aware of the person who did my return today. If she was being honest, she said her name was Natalie: White, older lady with short hair. She was, for no reason at all, showing Karen very much behavior.
I came in to return a few items from an over $300+ online order. I was happy no one was in line, so I went straight to the counter because I was short on time to get back to my office.
She made me wait a while because she was taking care of something else. After a while acknowledged me and said, I'd be right with you. I politely said ok. She finally decided to help me and move me to another register. She starts opening the bags with a frustrated look on her face. I wanted to make sure I was receiving the same price I paid online back to my card, so I asked her on two items to please let me know how much it was showing on her screen since I couldn't see the screen from my angle. She tells me, "You will get back whatever it's showing on the screen!" I said that's fine, but since I can't see the screen, please confirm so we are on the same page.
She gave me the worst attitude I ever experienced for a simple return, where I waited for her to help me out, and I was nothing but polite and friendly with this lady.
This is just so sad; not only do I give her the respect of being an older person. She dropped one of the labels, and I picked it up from the floor for her, again because that's just the person I am.
I also own a fashion business and run a social media platform. If one of my team members behaves that way with one of my clients, It will be handled.
If Natalie is in too much of a young work environment, then plenty of other candidates will be more grateful to have her position. Many other people will give her a reason to be nasty towards them. Still, Natalie showed what could easily be considered discriminatory behavior that is not part of H & M policy, based on the fantastic, diverse marketing delivered by this corporation.
After the return was done, I asked her if everything was ok because I gave her no reason to show a frustrated attitude towards me. She said my return had too many items and started moving her hands so I could move from the counter because she was done with me.
5 Items were too much for Natalie, and this is just unacceptable!
I hope this is brought to Natalie's attention because it is unacceptable to treat people like garbage when they are paying customers. It is almost 2025, Natalie; get with the times!

After reading through these reviews, it’s apparent that customer service is very much lacking at this location, and I can affirm these claims. Every time I visit this store, the employees are rude, arrogant, unfriendly and not knowledgeable. You get the distinct impression that the customer is there to accommodate them! I have seen repeated comments regarding the “manager” with the dreads, and I can confirm his lack of professionalism not only in his attitude but also in the way he dresses. This store needs to clean house!

I shop here regularly but not after today. I went and purchased a few items yesterday afternoon for a birthday occasion!
I bought the dangling cheap 12.99 earrings.
As I got ready I went to put them on and I couldn’t fit the stem back in my ear lobe because the gems were blocking it in a weird way. 1st problem. Then tried other one on and it breaks in half.
Okay sad face, no earrings for the night.
I go today to return them and explained to the girl behind the counter what happened She mentioned she remembered me and told me to set them aside and to go look for a new pair to exchange. So it took me about 3 minutes to look, I go right back in line there was one girl waiting and I didn’t want to be rude so I went behind her. Then the other dreaded hair gentleman appears behind the counter says hello. The girl says she has an exchange her receipt is there. He goes and looks in the 10 CENT bag I purchased and asked very rudely, what are these?? Are these earrings? So I responded to his energy by saying well they were until they broke apart. He proceeded to Rudely ask well what happened?
As a customer service manager/employee, the other employee should have explained so I didn’t need to. Obviously there isn’t any communication there. Im not sure whatever the case may be because there was silence. So awkwardly I had to re explain what happened to where I was kind of treated in manner as if I was not being truthful. He was very short transition wise and basically just said here you can take it. Handed me the receipt and earrings WITHOUT the bad I purchased.
I won’t be back.

Clean store that's laid out well. Staff in the fitting room and check out areas were a tad awkward, but maybe they were new.

Disappointment with Fitting Room Closure and Poor ServiceDear H&M Customer Service,I am writing to express my recent experience at your Desert Ridge store. 15th I arrived an hour and a half before closing time to try on some clothes I intended to purchase. Unfortunately, I was informed by two staff members that the fitting rooms were already closed due to being understaffed. This was despite the fact that I observed three other staff members standing around and not attending to any customers.When I asked if I could quickly try on the items, both employees refused to accommodate my request. This lack of flexibility and customer care was incredibly frustrating. It's disheartening to see the quality of customer service decline so significantly.As a regular customer, I expect better service and consideration. I hope that steps will be taken to ensure that fitting rooms remain available during all business hours and that staff are better managed to provide the service H&M is known for.

I went to H&M at Desert Ridge. What a mess that place is! The store is in shambles! The clothes aren’t even steamed! The girl told me she couldn’t take off the pants from the manican. I said, you have a size 10, 12, and 0 left. Can you get the size 4 for me on the manican. She told me they can’t do that because they have corporate coming today and they need all the manicans to have pants. I asked if she has more in stock. Nope, we have four pairs total. I said, so those pants aren’t for sale? She said well I can ask my manager. ? I told her that’s ridiculous and I’ve never heard of that. Why display pants if you don’t have the inventory? She walked over reluctantly took them off, as she’s telling me, see this is the problem, we would be doing this all day. I said, isn’t that in the job description for retail? She actually had the nerve to say, not my job. ?? Then she hands me the pants rudely. I just walked to the register with them to pay and I heard her complaining to a co worker saying, well what pants are we going to put up now??? Have you been to that store? They have thousands of pants! Then the girl at the register told me they usually aren’t allowed to take clothes off the manicans? Even if it’s the last size? I wonder if H&M knows they are loosing sales because of this policy. I can’t believe how lazy this new generation is?!! We are doomed. ?

FORCED to give my email and birth date. I was scolded at the checkout by the elderly female employee and told that I wouldn’t be able to return without giving my email and birth date. Blatant lie. The fact that I don’t want to hold that dirty little phone that’s been touched by tons of hands is REASON enough. The fact that I said several times “no, I would rather not give my information “ is also reason enough to not continue to push the issue. The elderly woman employee just stared at me and huffed and puffed until I gave her a fake birthday and she didn’t even input it into the dirty tablet? She whispered that “they want to know their shopper demographic” and slid my receipt over to me with a mean look. I said thanks and she said NOTHING. H&M needs to pay a software company to scrub their payments like every other company that collects data instead of encouraging their employees to lie and be unnecessarily stubborn with customers. Will never be back.

I've been to this location 4 times. I need clothes pretty bad right now. I bought a few things 2 of 4 of those times. The other times I didn't like anything or want to buy anything. It's spring right now, about to be shorts weather. They still have a lot of hoodies and long sleeve stuff out and I don't know why. I just want to buy some decent clothes but I guess that's too much to ask.

Terrible service! Stood there waiting for someone to ring me up and all of the employees ignored me. They saw me standing by the register waiting to pay and no one bothered to help. Horrible customer service. Do better.
