Stylist: I believe her name is Sophia that works there, very unprofessional and didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, I had a picture to how I’d like his hair cut done and I asked before she even started on his hair if she’s able to do it, cause she mentioned that there not a barber and only a barber can do that type of hair cut like what!? ? that’s the simplest hair cut to do! I’ve never even stepped foot in a barber. I’ve been going great clips for the longest time now and never had this issue at any other locations besides this one! I’ll never being going back! Especially since nothing was done with my concerns.

Requested style: I am totally disappointed with the Great Clips hairstylist. I showed her pictures the style I wanted, but she initially told me it won’t be possible with my hair texture. After that she started cutting my hair without even asking me the length of the hair to be cut. This is my worst experience in my life.

Lu is one of the people that lights up the room. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to this location and she immediately asked me how my school year was going. She’s truly a gem.
I got my hair washed by Lilly today and it was so relaxing! Awesome conversation, too!

How do I send a picture? It is all chopped up. I said maybe a 1/2 a inch. She probably did an inch and a 1/2. To 2 inches, depending on the area. When you brush it out, it's completely chopped up. Especially around the face for the frame. Some parts were straight and jaggity, and then some... I actually stopped the service ... I have hair extensions in and it was completely off. They were telling me they would have to cut into the hair. Extensions, I've been dealing with hair extension since a teenager. I am 40 years old....... Super weird thought I would say some time tonight because I have a wash. For a very big event. In another country that we've been planning for almost a year now. About to fly out. And a curl for my hair extensions at another salon. And now my hair is going to be too short in the front... Definitely does not blend in. She has a nice lady. I just think she needs to know how to blend more.

Today, I took my 19-year-old son to Great Clips at Union Hills/19th Avenue for a haircut. He had a specific style in mind and even brought a picture to show the stylist.
Unfortunately, calling her a stylist is a stretch. She argued with him about the haircut, and oddly mentioned she couldn't use a certain razor because her fingers were too small. This seemed irrelevant, but her rudeness was inappropriate.
She interrupted him repeatedly and essentially cut his hair however SHE wanted. It is obvious she barely graduated at the bottom of her cosmetology class. The result was a complete disaster. My son was in tears when we left. We had to go to a barbershop at the Shops at Norterra to fix the mess. The barber there noted that she messed up his neckline so badly and left chunks of hair unblended.
I would have asked for our $20 back, but her attitude was so rude and degrading that I think it's better to leave my comments here. Avoid this Great Clips if you can unless you want a very, VERY bad haircut. What a shame. We have outgrown Great Clips and will never return.

Incredibly disrespectful front desk / stylist. My daughter is 5 and it was her first haircut. I was rudely told to " sit up front". Are you kidding me? My daughter was nervous. There's 8 empty chairs and I can't sit next to my daughter??? Around strangers? And the attitude was out of control. NEVER EVER COME HERE

Quite crowded place.. better plan to go non peak hours... Service is good, and i like my haircut. Reasonable cost and got haircut for 10 $ with promocode.

We always had a wonderful experience at this store. Each time, explained about care played with ideas of hair. Knowledgeable and friendly. Keeping your spirits light. I'm happy that they have gotten me and my wife's hair for our wedding. 3/14 shift was 12:48. Awesome people.

This is a convenient place nestled in the back corner between Little Ceasar's and Ace Harware by Fry's Grocery.Staff are friendly, accommodating and professional who listen to you ( and even type in what they did for you that day- for the record).Place is clean with up to date equipment. No waiting.

This is a place like the TV series "Cheers", where everybody knows your name and they're glad that you came... ? ?The stylists are professional and personable. It's worth the trip to this particular shop, and the price is reasonable enough so you can leave a decent tip. ?I love ❤️ my ✂️ cut every time!
