I drove over an hour to come to this store to buy supplies for UwU con in Mesa Arizona. They closed early and I was unable to purchase what I needed, they appear polite, despite that it is very inconvenient and unreliable if they are not consistent with their schedule. I will tell the people that recommended this place of what happened.

I call to see when I can go back to pick up my order he gave me no answer but some nasty attitude.Called BARGAIN STORE EQUIPMENT for the same exact order and to my surprise it was only $1562 !!!!!!$200 cheaper than Gersher brother and my order was ready for pick up in less than 20 minutes..Bad customer service bad prices.

Terrible customer service. Didn't ship my order in time. The boss had his employee call me to "see if I had received my order". I replied with well shouldn't you know if I have received it yet or not? If they had shipped it in time they would have the tracking and could see if it had been delivered. Then all of a sudden I got an email saying it was being shipped out. Which in return told me that it was a cover up call. Very unprofessional how they handled it.

July 29, 2021 I definitely do not air dirty laundry in public, but in this case, I have been treated so, so very badly by Gershel Brothers in Philadelphia that I need other people to know of my horrible experience. I have recently moved, and have more room to display my collections. I, therefore, thought I would purchase some display cases for my collections. I found Gershel Brothers Inc. on the internet. While my choice to purchase 8 cases from them was extremely expensive, the thought of having museum-quality cases to protect my collection was extremely attractive. I HAD TO WAIT A YEAR UNTIL THE CONTRACTOR FINISHED THE ROOM FOR THESE CASES. DURING THIS TIME, I WAS IN CONSTANT CONTACT WITH JEFF KLAUS SALE REPRESENTATIVE OF GERSHEL BROTHERS INC. THE SELECTION OF CASES WAS A LONG PROCESS SINCE I AM NOT ACCUSTOMED TO ORDERING ONLINE. HE WAS VERY, VERY HELPFUL, IN DETAIL ABOUT THE OF THE CASES, AND HAD MUCH PATIENCE WITH ME IN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. ONCE THE ROOM WAS FINISHED, IN MAY, I PLACED THE ORDER, AND HE SUDDENLY BECAME VERY ABRUPT AND WANTED MONEY IMMEDIATELY. I PLACED THE ORDER IN MAY OF THIS YEAR. I RECEIVED THE CASES ON JULY 23RD, BY COMMON CARRIER. AFTER BEING PROMISED THE CASES WOULD ARRIVE A WEEK EARLIER. THE CASES ARRIVED ON PALLETS CONSTRUCTED POORLY WITH LOW-QUALITY WOOD. I had to wait 3 months for the cases to be made and shipped from Minnesota to my new home in New York State. As the cases were being unloaded, alarms began ringing in my head. The wood of the packing crates was of the cheapest quality. And much to my dismay, on case, arrived damaged, because the wood of the crate had split and as a result, the case itself cracked. (See photos). Next: the cases were supposed to have lighting in them. Jeff Klaus, told me it was there, but the cord for the lighting was inside a small hole, and zip-tied in place. One would have to jack up the entire case to get underneath with a safety razor to cut the zip tie, thread it through the hole and lower the case. Why this cord was not put through the hole and taped to the back of the case is beyond my comprehension. The glass was very securely taped and did arrive safely. Jeff Klaus claimed this was done because of UL requirements. I find this rather suspicious since it is impossible to access the cord without a forklift. He knew these cases were going to a residential home, without such equipment. This is an excerpt from an email: Jeff Klaus wrote: "The cord is up under the kick, due to UL guidelines, we cannot ship the cord outside the case. They will have to pull it out of the hole that was pre-drilled." I responded: " WHAT IS THE "KICK", JEFF? DID ANYONE TELL THE CUSTOMER THIS COMPLICATED UL GUIDLINE??? I NOW HAVE TO GET MOVERS TO COME IN TURN OVER CASE TO FIND THIS CORD AND PULL IT THROUGH A HOLE!!!!" Jeff Klaus' response: "Kick is the bottom black piece." Nowhere does he address our now major problem of lifting the case to access the power cord. Furthermore, there were no instructions on how to assemble the brackets and install the glass, nor any instructions on how to access the per cords. The next issue is that the metal brackets which are attached to the back of the cases are inconsistent. Some are securely attached; others are loose and wiggle. This is definitely not the "museum-quality" that I was expecting. I feel I have spent MANY thousands of dollars on inferior quality products. I have made numerous phone calls to Jeff Klaus of Gershel Brothers, who refuses to take my calls. I am told he is out of the office, but he does respond by email. Gershel Brothers does not want to take responsibility for replacing the broken case or refunding the money. It certainly was not my fault the company used cheap and therefore weak lumber to make the shipping crate. Nor was there any assistance in helping me access the power cords. Do not buy from Gershel Brothers. They do not answer phone calls and do not stand by their products. Catch 22: I proved the case was damaged in transport. I must file a damage claim wi

7/25/19 Placed an order on line two weeks ago and never heard from them. Called at 3:00PM today and the answering message said they were open from 9:00am to 5:00 pm but were not open. I've done business with them over many years and never had a problem, but I now have to wonder if they're still a going concern.
