What happened to this Fry's? First, the trash under the shopping cart area by the front door was awful. Then a lady not paying attention to her kids in the way of my cart yelled at me after I kindly said excuse me twice to get past and then wouldn't apologize after. Then the cashier barely said hi after I said good morning. Then there was no one bagging in my lane so the cashier had to do it. I
thought I should help but I pay more for a store like this to not have to bag my own groceries. I did thank him and wished him a good day and he did not reply. Definitely will not be back.

This review is being written based on an experience that I had with Dawn at the Fry’s location at 27th and Bell.
I’m a tall girl but otherwise always felt like a small person in a big world. Odd way to start my review, I know. But, hang in there please. This story has to be heard.
Now and again, the world is just big enough to make room for people like Dawn at this location. I had $170ish worth of groceries all scanned and bagged - ready to go. Looked in my purse to get my payment method and, to my absolute horror, realized I had put my wallet in my (slightly) fancier bag the night before and I forgot to put it back before my shopping trip.
Wouldn’t have been a biggish biggie, but I was buying salmon for a special-ish dinner with my fiancée and I wanted to rush it home so it would stay as cold as possible. I had a handful or two of actual dollars lurking in the corners of my usual bag, so I told Dawn that I’d take the salmon and run home for my wallet, then come back for the rest. She rang up the salmon and it turned out that I was a little short with the cash I had available. Again - agony and embarrassment.
I don’t know how, but I think Dawn saw it in my eyes. I badly needed a little bit of kindness and humanity yesterday. She gave it to me by covering the rest of the cost. She shouldn’t have. But she did. I tried to assure her that it was okay, but she wouldn’t have it. She said that she was blessed and grateful for the opportunity to help me.
When I went back to pay for the rest, I was moved to tears by her kindness as I tried to apologize and promise to reimburse her, we just didn’t have any cash in the house at the time. She wouldn’t have it for a second. Kicker is that she properly gendered me. Repeatedly. Not all that common for me yet.
Kinda silly that this is all something that happened during a transaction at a grocery store - but that’s where these good, good, REAL people are. They’re in our neighborhoods. Our day-to-days. Our community.
Dawn at Fry’s - thank you so very much. I know that it wasn’t much money, but it was worth everything to me. Universe/God/whoever - thank you for these kind, wise, thoughtful, and generous people. Please send us so many more. We need help out here. These kind of things go a very long way, sometimes.

I like the size of this location and the convenience of it being down the street from my home. HOWEVER, I'm seriously considering going to a different location or business altogether because of the AT&T sales people. When people are grocery shopping, esp. post-pandemic, they don't want to be approached and harassed about a new cell phone plan. As a woman shopping alone or coming after a long day at work, it feels uncomfortable and inappropriate to be stared down and approached by a salesman and have to hear the whole spiel. It completely ruins the shopping experience. Based on other reviews, it doesn't look like this will be addressed.

The store and employee itself are pretty good. We will be spending our money for the most part elsewhere for now on as we are tired of being solicited by AT&T on Every shopping trip. They have outstayed their welcome and should not be paid $23/hour BY Frys to sell cell phone plans. Good bye Frys

The security guard literally saw me get the foam ice cooler and he still stopped and asked me if there was anything in it... Idk a little too much? ?

I always like coming to this store because they have a larger selection of items. The workers are always helpful and kind.

This is a well stocked, clean store. We come here for the produce. Mason, the night guy at self checkout is amazing. On the other hand, whatever dude works self checkout during the day seems annoyed all the time and is kind of rude tbh. There are other times staff will be gathered at the front chatting with each other, ignoring customers. Five stars were it not for the ATT reps tho. Get rid of those annoying cell service sales people hanging around produce or the deli. Nothing worse than having to dodge those guys while I'm shopping.
