Beautiful space for art, community, and celebration. Every time I go I see something new and beautiful, I like that local artists are always highlighted and given a space to share their work. Frida's Garden is also the perfect place to host your small gathering or event! Petra is always welcoming and supportive of community groups and movements, thank you for creating this beautiful space!

I had the fortunate opportunity today to visit Frida's Garden, a super fun art gallery, event space, and service center! Tucked right next to the Mecca of Phoenix food, El Barrio Cafe, Frida's Garden is a warm fire for the mind, body, and spirit. The beautiful pop eclectic interior rings true constantly to the themes the curators and staff have gleemed from the art and influence and subsequent themes surrounding Frida and her presence in latinx culture. Speaking of staff, Fridas's fantastic facilitator and owner, Petra, was an absolute joy to be around and was a fantastic educator and facilitator of the experience, (which was very ++/delux). Inside you'll an assortment of social services, community engagement programs, and activities for both the bored, or inquiring individual, couple, neighborhood, community organizer, or your intimate or private event! and of course the Art and consignment! We had a fantastic afternoon of painting art inspired by Lalo and learning about all the history and programs they offer. I highly recommend you visit Frida's Garden, you won't regret it!

This is a fantastic Place Frida's Garden it's a place to grow it features art facility for community events. Community Partners to influence growth in art. I am in no means an artist but I had a fantastic time learned quite a bit and had fun meeting new people and a new place with new ideas! The staff was absolutely wonderful and very giving! Would highly recommend to anyone! I am visiting from New Mexico I never thought there were places like this in the Phoenix area for someone to learn and grow in new ideas! Thank you all affiliated with Frida's Garden for your hospitality and generosity! I would highly recommend this once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone in the Phoenix area or passing through the Phoenix area!!! As Arnold would say, I'll be back!

2.6.21: Wow - love making "accidental discoveries!" I was ordering out at Barrio Cafe & this shop is just south of the restaurant, in the same building.Petra, the owner, told me lots about her store & so I'll try to share maybe a quarter of what I remember! She carries "all things Frida Kahlo-inspired" obviously - from artwork to masks to Christmas ornaments to throw pillows Y MAS. She also shares the space with famed local artist/muralist Lalo Cota, one of my absolute favorite. So this place is packed with fun, colorful, one-of-a-kind pieces.This is also a community space: they hold events like next week's heart event, making heart art & talking about heart health.Come check this "only in Phoenix" space for handicrafts/gifts for fam/friends or for yourself!

What a great time with my daughter tonight, painting Lalo Cota's work, learning more about Frida and our community from Petra Fimbres. Spending time here painting was a fantastic experience.

What a truly amazing place!! Hopping into Frida's Garden makes me feel like I am in the happiest place on earth. Petra (owner) is SO friendly, and her colorful personality is echoed in the bright colors of the space. If you are a fan of famed Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, then you must visit. They have everything from art prints and canvases, to shirts, pens , masks, beanies and more. Plus, if you are familiar with famed Phoenix muralist, Lalo Cota, you will see a lot of his amazing work there as well. He shares this space and holds Tequila Tacos y Arte night there with Petra where you can come in and paint one of his famous prints. We came for this paint night event and we had such a great time. Fabulous crowd, and we vibed all night to some old school music, tequila drinks and tacos. If you are looking for a one of a kind gift inspired by art, you must check this place out. Or if you are looking for a fun night out with friends, family or a date night--Go to Tequila Tacos y Arte. Check their Instagram for more info. Highly recommend this place!!
