I was not surprised when I looked Flagstaff up, and they had a 1.4 star rating. This has to be the worst mortgage servicer on the face of the planet.

I set a see why this bank is only a 1.5 star! The employees must be hard up for jobs cause this place seems like it’s going down hill and only cause of how they conduct business! Get rich quick and run!

I bought a new build with Lennar and they transferred my loan to flagstar. Gotta say it’s been great, no surprise fees I’ve noticed, I can see my account balance online—sometimes they maintenance the site and can’t login but it’s usually later at night anyways, I can schedule biweekly payments with the autopay (LOVE THIS!!!), and pay off towards the principal balance when I have extra cash with no prepayment penalties.
Love it and looking forward to paying off my mortgage sooner ?

Absolutely worse bank! Out no where they started sending our bank’s payments back instead of applying it to the loan! So we have to go to the website to make the payment! Did it again two more times and now can’t even pay on line! They say to mail a cashier check! Huh? That’s what our bank has been doing! Now they show us 30 days late cause they keep refusing payments! Don’t even understand the logic of this!

I swear they were trying everything possible to not do my loan. I am so glad we are changing lendersThe automated response is so insincere. My intelligence is far more advanced than this type of technique. I just don't appreciate people making me jump through hoops when they knew they didn't want to do the loan and that just stressed me out.. shame on them They need to be up front and very unprofessional and I would never recommend this bank to anyone

Website is unresponsive getting a E Mail verifying code to access my mortgage info,Called local Flagstar Mortgagee8mmBank rep, me, I have waited 40 minutes no e mail sentCalled local branch contact and Flagstar rep Jason's mailbox is full and I can't leave a message, this is a big Red Flag I need to transfer my mortgage to another lender.

Another negligence issue with your company so you can take houses. To create multiple fees added without reason, not recording anything or creating records of payments, calls, ECT has gone on for years now.

My mortgage was recently transferred to Flagstar (against my knowledge or will, of course). Thank goodness I have the ability to pay it off, so I don't have to ever deal with them again. Absolutely incompetent doesn't begin to describe the levels of stupidity at this place.

This is the worst bank in the history of banks. Do not do business with them. They are impossible to get a hold of, unwilling to work with you on anything, downright rude, agents on the phone will just transfer you around without helping or just hang up. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. You will be stuck with them and their terrible service.

Absolute WORST bank I've ever delt with. March of last year we has a small fire in our kitchen. My local State Farm insurance agent took care of everything super quick and got me the check. I sent it to flagstar to have signed and sent back to me so I can have the damages repaired, and I still haven't released the check to me. I have sent them all of my paperwork from the insurance multiple times, the insurance company themselves have sent it and still can't get the check. They're asking for additional paperwork, that the insurance company hasn't even heard of. We just bought a new house and can't sell this one until the damages are repaired. From here on out they can talk to my lawer..

This has been the worst experience ever trying to get a hold of a supervisor or a contact person. We will be moving our mortgage from there, and moving it to Fifth Third Bank.

Terrible customer service, they harassed me since they took over my loan. If I could afford to refinance again with someone else I would!!!!!
